I will stand there before you by the rock at Horeb. Strike the rock, and water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses did this in the sight of the elders of Israel.

I will stand there in front of you by the rock at Mount Horeb. Hit the rock. Then water will come out of it for the people to drink.” So Moses hit the rock while the elders of Israel watched.

Behold, I will stand before you there on the rock at Horeb, and you shall strike the rock, and water shall come out of it, and the people will drink.” And Moses did so, in the sight of the elders of Israel.

都喝過同樣的靈水，因為他們從那與他們同行的屬靈磐石中得水喝，那磐石就是基督。

摩西遵命而行，從耶和華面前取了杖，然後和亞倫把會眾招聚到磐石前，說：「你們這些叛逆之徒聽著，非要我們叫磐石給你們流出水來嗎？」接著，摩西舉起手中的杖擊打磐石兩下，水便噴湧而出，會眾和牲畜都喝了。

祂使磐石裂開、湧出水來，在乾旱之地奔流成河。

因為祂使磐石變成水池，使岩石湧出泉水。

他們餓了，你賜下天糧給他們吃；他們渴了，你使磐石流出水給他們喝。你吩咐他們去佔領你起誓賜給他們的土地。

聖靈和新娘都說：「來吧！」聽見的也要說：「來吧！」口渴的，讓他來吧！願意的，讓他白白享用生命水吧！

帶領你們走過乾旱、可怕、毒蛇和蠍子出沒的大曠野。祂使堅硬的磐石流出水來給你們喝，

節期最後一天，也是整個節期的高潮，耶穌站起來高聲說：「人若渴了，可以到我這裡來喝。正如聖經所言，信我的人，『從他裡面要流出活水的江河來』。」

祂在曠野劈開磐石，供應他們豐沛的水源。祂使水從磐石中滾滾流出，如滔滔江河。

耶穌回答說：「要是你知道上帝的恩賜，又知道向你要水喝的是誰，你早就求祂了，祂也早就把活水給你了。」

祂擊打磐石，水就湧出，流淌成河，但祂能賜給我們——祂的子民食物和肉嗎？」

但是喝了我所賜的活水，永遠不會再渴。我所賜的水要在他裡面成為生命的泉源，湧流不息，直到永生。」

耶和華帶領他們經過沙漠，他們也不會口渴。為了他們，祂使水從磐石中流出，祂使磐石裂開、湧出水來。

有一條河給上帝的城——至高者的聖所帶來喜樂。

亞倫對以色列全體會眾說話的時候，他們向曠野遠望，果然看見耶和華的榮光在雲彩中顯現。

看啊，我要行一件新事，這事現在就要發生，難道你們沒有察覺嗎？我要在曠野闢道路，在沙漠開江河。曠野的走獸必尊崇我，其中有豺狼和鴕鳥，因為我使曠野有甘泉，使沙漠有江河，供我揀選的子民飲用。

摩西為岳父米甸祭司葉忒羅放羊。一天他領著羊群穿越曠野，來到上帝的山——何烈山。忽然有耶和華的天使在荊棘裡的火焰中向他顯現。摩西看見荊棘雖然在燃燒，卻沒有被燒毀。摩西想：「我要過去看這個奇異的景象，荊棘為什麼沒有被燒掉呢？」耶和華上帝見他要上前觀看，就從荊棘叢中呼喚他說：「摩西！摩西！」摩西說：「我在這裡。」上帝說：「別再靠近，脫下你腳上的鞋子，因為你所站的地方是聖地。」

「貧窮困苦的人找不到水喝，他們口乾舌燥。但我耶和華必應允他們的呼求，我——以色列的上帝不會撇棄他們。我要使光禿的山嶺上江河奔流，山谷中泉水湧流；我要使沙漠變成水塘，使乾地冒出泉水。
