摩西说：“耶和华已经起誓要世代与亚玛力人为敌。”

摩西又说：“向耶和华的旌旗举手，耶和华必世世代代和亚玛力人争战。”

又說：「耶和華已經起了誓，必世世代代和亞瑪力人爭戰。」

他說：「我指着耶和華的寶座發誓，耶和華必世世代代和亞瑪力爭戰。」

說：『我舉手指着永恆主的寶座來起誓：永恆主必世世代代跟亞瑪力人爭戰。』

曰、亞瑪力舉手攻耶和華之座、故耶和華必與之戰、歷世靡暨、

蓋曰、因亞馬力手攻耶和華、故與之戰、歷世靡暨。

蓋曰、亞瑪力人手攻主之寶座、故主與之戰、至於世世、

He said,“ Because hands were lifted up against the throne of the Lord, the Lord will be at war against the Amalekites from generation to generation.”

He said,“ The Amalekites opposed the authority of the Lord. So the Lord will fight against the Amalekites for all time to come.”

saying,“ A hand upon the throne of the Lord! The Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

He said,“ They have raised their fist against the Lord’s throne, so now the Lord will be at war with Amalek generation after generation.”

He said,“ Indeed, my hand is lifted up toward the LORD’s throne. The LORD will be at war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

and he said,“ Because the Lord has sworn, the Lord will have war against Amalek from generation to generation.”

for he said,“ Because the Lord has sworn: the Lord will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

And he said, Jehovah hath sworn: Jehovah will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

He said,“ Indeed, my hand is lifted up toward the Lord’s throne. The Lord will be at war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

For he said, Because the LORD hath sworn[ that] the LORD[ will have] war with Amalek from generation to generation.

for he said,“ For a hand was lifted up to the throne of the LORD– that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

He said,“ Yah has sworn:‘ Yahweh will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.’”

Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies; your right hand will seize your foes.When you appear for battle, you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and his fire will consume them.You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from mankind.Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed. “‘ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What kind of house will you build for me? says the Lord. Or where will my resting place be? (niv)
