Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this in a book as a memorial and recite it to Joshua, that I will utterly wipe out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this on a scroll as something to be remembered and make sure that Joshua hears it, because I will completely blot out the name of Amalek from under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ This is something to be remembered. So write it on a scroll. Make sure Joshua knows you have done it. I will completely erase the memory of the Amalekites from the earth.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in a book and recite it in the ears of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

After the victory, the Lord instructed Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a permanent reminder, and read it aloud to Joshua: I will erase the memory of Amalek from under heaven.”

The LORD then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in the book and recount it in the hearing of Joshua, that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.”

And Jehovah said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The Lord then said to Moses,“ Write this down on a scroll as a reminder and recite it to Joshua: I will completely blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven.”

And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this[ for] a memorial in a book, and rehearse[ it] in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

The LORD said to Moses,“ Write this as a memorial in the book, and rehearse it in Joshua’s hearing; for I will surely wipe out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

Yahweh said to Moses,“ Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: that I will utterly blot out the memory of Amalek from under the sky.”

And David slaughtered them from the twilight until the evening of the next day; and not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”

Then it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had carried out an attack on the Negev and on Ziklag, and had overthrown Ziklag and burned it with fire;

And he looked at Amalek and took up his discourse and said,“ Amalek was the first of the nations, But his end shall be destruction.”

from Aram, Moab, the sons of Ammon, the Philistines, Amalek, and from the spoils of Hadadezer, son of Rehob, king of Zobah.

‘ Now this day shall be a memorial to you, and you shall celebrate it as a feast to the Lord; throughout your generations you are to celebrate it as a permanent ordinance.

And it shall serve as a sign to you on your hand, and as a reminder on your forehead, that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth; for with a powerful hand the Lord brought you out of Egypt.

“ Speak now to Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and to Joshua the son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and to the remnant of the people, saying,‘ Who is left among you who saw this temple in its former glory? And how do you see it now? Does it not seem to you like nothing in comparison?

Then Saul defeated the Amalekites, from Havilah going toward Shur, which is east of Egypt.He captured Agag the king of the Amalekites alive, and completely destroyed all the people with the edge of the sword.

Moses recorded their starting places according to their journeys by the command of the Lord, and these are their journeys according to their starting places.

then you shall say to them,‘ That the waters of the Jordan were cut off before the ark of the covenant of the Lord; when it crossed the Jordan, the waters of the Jordan were cut off.’ So these stones shall become a memorial to the sons of Israel forever.”

The mentioning of the righteous is a blessing, But the name of the wicked will rot.

And the Lord sent you on a mission, and said,‘ Go and completely destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are eliminated.’

And Moses wrote down all the words of the Lord. Then he got up early in the morning, and built an altar at the foot of the mountain with twelve memorial stones for the twelve tribes of Israel.

So Moses wrote this Law and gave it to the priests, the sons of Levi who carried the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.

shall we again break Your commandments and intermarry with the peoples who commit these abominations? Would You not be angry with us to the point of destruction, until there would be no remnant nor any who would escape?

The enemy has come to an end in everlasting ruins, And You have uprooted the cities; The very memory of them has perished.

The memory of him perishes from the earth, And he has no name abroad.

Now it came about after the death of Saul, when David had returned from the slaughter of the Amalekites, that David stayed two days in Ziklag.

They destroyed the remnant of the Amalekites who escaped, and they have lived there to this day.

“ Oh that my words were written! Oh that they were recorded in a book!

Then he said to me,‘ Who are you?’ And I answered him,‘ I am an Amalekite.’And he said to me,‘ Please stand next to me and finish me off, for agony has seized me because my life still lingers in me.’So I stood next to him and finished him off, because I knew that he could not live after he had fallen. And I took the crown which was on his head and the band which was on his arm, and I have brought them here to my lord.”Then David took hold of his clothes and tore them, and so also did all the men who were with him.And they mourned and wept and fasted until evening for Saul and his son Jonathan, and for the people of the Lord and the house of Israel, because they had fallen by the sword.Then David said to the young man who informed him,“ Where are you from?” And he answered,“ I am the son of a stranger, an Amalekite.”And David said to him,“ How is it you were not afraid to reach out with your hand to destroy the Lord’s anointed?”Then David called one of the young men and said,“ Come forward, put him to death.” So he struck him and he died.And David said to him,“ Your blood is on your head, because your own mouth has testified against you, saying,‘ I have finished off the Lord’s anointed.’ ”

Now David and his men went up and attacked the Geshurites, the Girzites, and the Amalekites; for they were the inhabitants of the land from ancient times, as you come to Shur even as far as the land of Egypt.David attacked the land and did not leave a man or a woman alive, and he took the sheep, the cattle, the donkeys, the camels, and the clothing. Then he returned and came to Achish.

This is what the Lord of armies says:‘ I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel, in that he obstructed him on the way while he was coming up from Egypt.Now go and strike Amalek and completely destroy everything that he has, and do not spare him; but put to death both man and woman, child and infant, ox and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ”

“ Remember what Amalek did to you on the way when you came out of Egypt,how he confronted you on the way and attacked among you all the stragglers at your rear when you were tired and weary; and he did not fear God.So it shall come about, when the Lord your God has given you rest from all your surrounding enemies in the land which the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance to possess, that you shall wipe out the mention of the name Amalek from under heaven; you must not forget.
