When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up— one on one side, one on the other— so that his hands remained steady till sunset.

When Moses’ arms got tired, Aaron and Hur got a stone and put it under him. Then he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held up his hands. Aaron was on one side, and Hur was on the other. Moses’ hands remained steady until sunset.

But Moses’ hands grew weary, so they took a stone and put it under him, and he sat on it, while Aaron and Hur held up his hands, one on one side, and the other on the other side. So his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

Moses’ arms soon became so tired he could no longer hold them up. So Aaron and Hur found a stone for him to sit on. Then they stood on each side of Moses, holding up his hands. So his hands held steady until sunset.

你们要坚固发软的手，稳固衰弱的膝；

弟兄们，请为我们祷告。

因为我知道，藉着你们的祈祷和耶稣基督之灵的帮助，事情将为我转变以致我获救。

你们也能通过祈祷一同帮助我们，好让许多人因着那临到我们的恩惠为我们献上感谢；这恩惠是通过许多人临到我们的。

求你拔出长矛和标枪，迎战追赶我的人；求你对我说：“我是你的拯救！”

耶稣回来，看见他们睡着了，就对彼得说：“西门，你睡着了？难道你不能警醒一个小时吗？要警醒祷告，免得陷入试探。你们心灵虽然愿意，肉体却是软弱的。”耶稣又去祷告，说了同样的话。他又回来，看见他们在睡觉，因为他们的眼皮发沉，也不知道要回答耶稣什么。

因此，你们要把发软的手、发酸的腿伸直吧！

耶稣回到门徒们那里，看见他们睡着了，就对彼得说：“你们怎么就不能与我一同警醒一个小时呢？要警醒祷告，免得陷入试探。你们心灵虽然愿意，肉体却是软弱的。”耶稣第二次又去祷告说：“我父啊，如果这杯不能离开我，一定要我喝下，那就愿你的旨意成就！”他又回来，看见他们在睡觉，因为他们的眼皮发沉。耶稣又离开他们，第三次去祷告，又说了同样的话。然后，他回到门徒们那里，对他们说：“你们还在睡觉、休息吗？看哪，时候快到了！人子被交在罪人的手里了。

不过他要凭着信仰祈求，不要有任何疑惑，因为疑惑的人就像海中的波浪，被风吹动翻腾。

你们要以各样的祷告和祈求，藉着圣灵时刻祈祷；而且为此警醒，以极大的忍耐，为所有圣徒祈求，

你们要恒切祷告，祷告中要保持警醒，怀着感谢的心。
