So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill.

離開之前，摩西吩咐長老說：「你們在這裡等候我們回來。亞倫和戶珥跟你們在一起，百姓當中有什麼訴訟的事情，可以交給他們處理。」

「看啊，在猶大支派中我已經親自選出戶珥的孫子、烏利的兒子比撒列，

教導他們遵守我吩咐你們的一切。記住，我必常與你們同在，一直到世界的末了。」

不久，摩西的手疲倦發軟，亞倫和戶珥就抬來一塊石頭讓摩西坐下，然後站在他的兩邊扶著他的手，他就穩穩地舉著手，直到日落。

你們如果照我的吩咐去做，就是我的朋友。

耶和華怎樣吩咐祂的僕人摩西，摩西也怎樣吩咐約書亞，約書亞都一一照辦，沒有遺漏任何耶和華吩咐摩西的事。

祂母親對僕人說：「祂叫你們做什麼，你們就做什麼。」
