以色列民見而弗識、相語曰、此何物耶、摩西曰、此耶和華食爾之糧、

When the Israelites saw it, they said to each other,“ What is it?” For they did not know what it was. Moses said to them,“ It is the bread the Lord has given you to eat.

The people of Israel saw the flakes. They asked each other,“ What’s that?” They didn’t know what it was. Moses said to them,“ It’s the bread the Lord has given you to eat.

When the people of Israel saw it, they said to one another,“ What is it?” For they did not know what it was. And Moses said to them,“ It is the bread that the Lord has given you to eat.

The Israelites were puzzled when they saw it.“ What is it?” they asked each other. They had no idea what it was. And Moses told them,“ It is the food the Lord has given you to eat.

耶和華諭摩西曰、我必自天雨糧、民宜日出、斂日所需、以試其遵我法律否、

彼卑抑爾、任爾饑餓、食以瑪那、爾與爾祖所未識者、俾知人之生、不第恃食、惟恃耶和華口所出之言、

以色列族稱斯糧曰瑪那、狀如芫荽子、其色白、味如蜜餅、

皆食一靈食、

既食其地所產、翌日瑪那遂止、以色列人不復得之、是年食迦南土產、○

昔我祖食瑪那於野、記有之、主以自天之餅食之、耶穌曰、我誠語汝、非摩西賜爾自天之餅、乃我父以自天之真餅賜爾也、

此乃自天而降之餅、非如列祖食瑪那而死、食此餅者、必永生也、

爾以天降之糧充其飢、磐湧之水解其渴、昔爾舉手而誓、所錫之地、命彼入而據之、

謂無知者曰、來食我餅、飲我所調之酒、

怨上帝及摩西曰、奚導我出埃及、使死於野、無糧無水、所食淡薄、我心厭之、

爾祖食瑪那於野、亦死焉、

錫爾聖善之靈、以訓迪之、使瑪那不缺於其口、賜水以解其渴、

凡此皆異邦人所求、爾父知爾需之、

遂語亞倫曰、以壺盛瑪那一俄梅爾、置之耶和華前、留於後世、

又於野間、食爾以瑪那、乃爾祖所未識者、卑抑爾、試驗爾、俾終獲福、

有耳者宜聽聖神所語諸會者、獲勝者我則賜以所藏之瑪那、且賜之白石、上書新名、受者之外無識之者、○

有焚香之金鼎、與徧包以金之約匱、內有貯瑪那之金樽、亞倫萌芽之杖、與約版二、
