彼敵有言、必追而及、分其貨財、以快我心、出我鋒刃、手殲厥眾。

The enemy boasted,‘ I will pursue, I will overtake them. I will divide the spoils; I will gorge myself on them. I will draw my sword and my hand will destroy them.’

『或許他們得了戰利品而分，每個壯士得了一兩個女子？西西拉得了彩衣為擄物，得了繡花的彩衣為掠物，這兩面繡花的彩衣，披在頸項上作為戰利品。』

但有一個比他更強的來攻擊他，並且戰勝了他，就奪去他所倚靠的盔甲兵器，又分了他的掠物。

便‧哈達又派人到亞哈那裏，說：「撒瑪利亞的塵土若足夠跟從我的軍兵每人手拿一把，願神明重重懲罰我！」

耶和華任憑埃及王法老的心剛硬，他就追趕以色列人；以色列人卻抬起頭來出去了。埃及人追趕他們，法老一切的馬匹、戰車、戰車長，與軍兵就在海邊上，靠近比‧哈希錄，在巴力‧洗分的前面，在他們安營的地方追上了。
