米利暗和亚伦，为了摩西所娶的古实女子的缘故，就出言反对摩西，因为他娶了一个古实女子为妻。

大卫和以色列全家在耶和华面前用各种松木制造的乐器，就是用琴、瑟、鼓、钹、锣，作乐跳舞。

正月间，以色列全体会众到了寻的旷野，就住在加低斯；米利暗死在那里，也埋葬在那里。

女人祷告或讲道的时候，如果不蒙着头，就是羞辱自己的头，因为这就好像剃了头发一样。

然后，你要到神的山去，那里有非利士人的驻军。你进城的时候，会遇见一班先知从邱坛上下来。在他们前面有鼓瑟的、打鼓的、吹笛的、弹琴的。他们都受感说话。

你已经把我的悲哀变为舞蹈，把我的麻衣脱去，又给我穿上欢乐；

耶和华的约柜运进大卫城的时候，扫罗的女儿米甲从窗户往外观看，看见大卫王在耶和华面前跳跃舞蹈，心里就鄙视他。

妇女在聚会中应当闭口，好像在圣徒的众教会中一样，因为她们是不准讲话的；就如律法所说的，她们应该顺服。

大卫束着细麻布的以弗得，在耶和华面前极力跳舞。

他有四个女儿，都是童女，是会说预言的。

主发出命令，传扬好信息的妇女就成了一大群。
