My God, whom I praise, do not remain silent,

so that I return safely to my father’s household, then the Lord will be my Godand this stone that I have set up as a pillar will be God’s house, and of all that you give me I will give you a tenth.”

Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.

he says:“ It is too small a thing for you to be my servant to restore the tribes of Jacob and bring back those of Israel I have kept. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles, that my salvation may reach to the ends of the earth.”

Surely the idolatrous commotion on the hills and mountains is a deception; surely in the Lord our God is the salvation of Israel.

“ Go and tell my servant David,‘ This is what the Lord says: Are you the one to build me a house to dwell in?

This is what the Lord says:“ Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. Where is the house you will build for me? Where will my resting place be?
