無不驚駭、爾施厥能敵不敢動、屹然如石、待耶和華所得之民經其地。

求你記念你古時得來的會眾，就是你所贖、作你產業支派的，並記念你向來居住的錫安山。

對他們說：「我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們了，並且我們也都懼怕你們。這地所有的居民在你們面前都融化了。

從今日起，我要讓天下萬民驚慌懼怕你，聽見你的名聲，就因你發顫傷慟。」

到了早晨，拿八酒醒了，他的妻子把這些事都告訴他，他就發心臟病快死了，僵如石頭。

必無一人能在你們面前站立得住；耶和華－你們的上帝必照他所說的，使懼怕驚恐臨到你們所踏的全地。

他為我們的緣故捨己，為了要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們作他自己的子民，熱心為善。

因為耶和華救贖了雅各，救贖他脫離比他更強之人的手。

從前在民間有假先知起來；同樣，將來在你們中間也會有假教師，偷偷地引進使人滅亡的異端。他們甚至不認買他們的主人，自取迅速滅亡。

不過，你們是被揀選的一族，是君尊的祭司，是神聖的國度，是屬上帝的子民，要使你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

「他必保護他聖民的腳步，但惡人卻在黑暗中毀滅，因為人不是靠力量得勝。

至於以色列人中，無論是人是牲畜，連狗也不敢向他們吠叫，使你們知道耶和華區別埃及和以色列。』

如今你們若真的聽從我的話，遵守我的約，就要在萬民中作屬我的子民，因為全地都是我的。你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為神聖的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」

使海與深淵的水乾涸，在海的深處開路，使救贖的民走過的，不是你嗎？

因為耶和華的份是他的百姓，他的產業就是雅各。

誰像你的百姓以色列呢？上帝親自去救贖世上的一國，作自己的子民，顯出他的大名；為了你的地，從列國和他們的神明中，在你親自從埃及贖出來的子民面前，為自己行了大而可畏的事。

雅各啊，創造你的耶和華，以色列啊，造成你的那位，現在如此說：「你不要害怕，因為我救贖了你；我曾提你的名召你，你是屬我的。你從水中經過，我必與你同在，你渡過江河，水必不漫過你；你在火中行走，也不被燒傷，火焰必不燒着你身。因為我是耶和華－你的上帝，是以色列的聖者－你的救主；我使埃及作你的贖價，使古實和西巴代替你。

聖靈立你們作全羣的監督，你們就當為自己謹慎，也為全羣謹慎，牧養上帝的教會，就是他用自己血所買來的。

凡你所到的地方，我要使那裏的眾百姓在你面前驚慌失措，又要使你所有的仇敵轉身逃跑。

愚昧無知的百姓啊，你們這樣報答耶和華嗎？他豈不是你的父，創造了你嗎？他造了你，堅立你。
