Are You not the One who dried up the sea, The waters of the great deep; That made the depths of the sea a road For the redeemed to cross over?

For the LORD’s portion is His people; Jacob is the place of His inheritance.

And who is like Your people, like Israel, the one nation on the earth whom God went to redeem for Himself as a people, to make for Himself a name— and to do for Yourself great and awesome deeds for Your land— before Your people whom You redeemed for Yourself from Egypt, the nations, and their gods?

But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel:“ Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine.When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.For I am the Lord your God, The Holy One of Israel, your Savior; I gave Egypt for your ransom, Ethiopia and Seba in your place.

Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.

“ I will send My fear before you, I will cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, and will make all your enemies turn their backs to you.

Do you thus deal with the Lord, O foolish and unwise people? Is He not your Father, who bought you? Has He not made you and established you?
