無不驚駭、爾施厥能敵不敢動、屹然如石、待耶和華所得之民經其地。

求你記念你古時所得來的會眾，就是你所贖、作你產業支派的，並記念你向來所居住的錫安山。

對他們說：「我知道耶和華已經把這地賜給你們，並且因你們的緣故我們都驚慌了。這地的一切居民在你們面前心都消化了；

從今日起，我要使天下萬民聽見你的名聲都驚恐懼怕，且因你發顫傷慟。」

到了早晨，拿八醒了酒，他的妻將這些事都告訴他，他就魂不附體，身僵如石頭一般。

必無一人能在你們面前站立得住；耶和華－你們的神必照他所說的，使懼怕驚恐臨到你們所踏之地的居民。

他為我們捨了自己，要贖我們脫離一切罪惡，又潔淨我們，特作自己的子民，熱心為善。

因耶和華救贖了雅各，救贖他脫離比他更強之人的手。

從前在百姓中有假先知起來，將來在你們中間也必有假師傅，私自引進陷害人的異端，連買他們的主他們也不承認，自取速速地滅亡。

惟有你們是被揀選的族類，是有君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國度，是屬神的子民，要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

他必保護聖民的腳步，使惡人在黑暗中寂然不動；人都不能靠力量得勝。

至於以色列中，無論是人是牲畜，連狗也不敢向他們搖舌，好叫你們知道耶和華是將埃及人和以色列人分別出來。』

如今你們若實在聽從我的話，遵守我的約，就要在萬民中作屬我的子民，因為全地都是我的。你們要歸我作祭司的國度，為聖潔的國民。』這些話你要告訴以色列人。」

使海與深淵的水乾涸、使海的深處變為贖民經過之路的，不是你嗎？

耶和華的分本是他的百姓；他的產業本是雅各。

世上有何民能比你的民以色列呢？你從埃及救贖他們作自己的子民，又在你贖出來的民面前行大而可畏的事，驅逐列邦人和他們的神，顯出你的大名。

雅各啊，創造你的耶和華，以色列啊，造成你的那位，現在如此說：你不要害怕！因為我救贖了你。我曾提你的名召你，你是屬我的。你從水中經過，我必與你同在；你蹚過江河，水必不漫過你；你從火中行過，必不被燒，火焰也不着在你身上。因為我是耶和華－你的神，是以色列的聖者－你的救主；我已經使埃及作你的贖價，使古實和西巴代替你。

聖靈立你們作全羣的監督，你們就當為自己謹慎，也為全羣謹慎，牧養神的教會，就是他用自己血所買來的。

凡你所到的地方，我要使那裏的眾民在你面前驚駭，擾亂，又要使你一切仇敵轉背逃跑。

愚昧無知的民哪，你們這樣報答耶和華嗎？他豈不是你的父、將你買來的嗎？他是製造你、建立你的。
