Pharaoh will think,‘ The Israelites are wandering around the land. They don’t know which way to go. The desert is all around them.’

法老必说：‘以色列人在地中绕迷了，旷野把他们困住了。’

法老必議以色列人云、彼眾失路、困於曠野、

Pharaoh will think,‘ The Israelites are wandering around the land in confusion, hemmed in by the desert.’

For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel,‘ They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’

Then Pharaoh will think,‘ The Israelites are confused. They are trapped in the wilderness!’

Pharaoh will say of the Israelites: They are wandering around the land in confusion; the wilderness has boxed them in.

For Pharaoh will say of the sons of Israel,‘ They are wandering aimlessly in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.’

For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel,‘ They are bewildered by the land; the wilderness has closed them in.’

And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

Pharaoh will say of the Israelites: They are wandering around the land in confusion; the wilderness has boxed them in.

Pharaoh will think regarding the Israelites,‘ They are wandering around confused in the land– the desert has closed in on them.’

Find out about all the hiding places he uses. Come back to me with all the facts. I’ll go with you. Suppose he’s in the area. Then I’ll track him down among all the family groups of Judah.”

You know when I sit down and when I get up. You know what I’m thinking even though you are far away.

“‘ Here is what the Lord and King says to Gog.“ In the past I spoke about you through my servants, the prophets of Israel. At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them.

Many are saying about me,“ God will not save him.”

“‘ The Lord and King says,“ At that time some ideas will come to you. You will make evil plans.You will say,‘ I will march out against a land whose villages don’t have walls around them. I’ll attack those peaceful people. I’ll do this when they aren’t expecting it. None of their villages has walls or gates with metal bars on them.

Lord, even before I speak a word, you know all about it.

I hear many people whispering,“ There is terror on every side! Bring charges against Jeremiah! Let’s bring charges against him!” All my friends are waiting for me to slip. They are saying,“ Perhaps he will be tricked into making a mistake. Then we’ll win out over him. We’ll get even with him.”But you are with me like a mighty warrior. So those who are trying to harm me will trip and fall. They won’t win out over me. They will fail. They’ll be totally put to shame. Their dishonor will never be forgotten.

The people of Gaza were told,“ Samson is here!” So they surrounded the place. They hid and waited for him at the city gate all night long. They didn’t make any move against him during the night. They said,“ Let’s wait until the sun comes up. Then we’ll kill him.”

Many horrible troubles and hard times will come on them. Then the song I am giving you will be a witness against them. That is because the song will not be forgotten by their children and their children’s children. I know what they are likely to do. I know it even before I bring them into the land I promised them.”

They did what your power and purpose had already decided should happen.

Saul was told that David had gone to Keilah. He said,“ God has handed him over to me. David has trapped himself by entering a town that has gates with metal bars.”

But I will make Pharaoh stubborn. I will multiply the signs and amazing things I will do in Egypt.In spite of that, he will not listen to you. So I will use my powerful hand against Egypt. When I judge them with mighty acts, I will bring my people Israel out like an army on the march.

They say,“ God has deserted him. Go after him and grab him. No one will save him.”
