你忘记了造你的耶和华，就是那展开诸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺压者准备行毁灭的时候所发的烈怒，你就终日不住惧怕呢？其实那欺压者的烈怒在哪里呢？

海水冲出如婴孩出母胎，那时谁用门把海水关闭呢？是我以云彩当作海的衣服，以幽暗当作包裹海的布；我为海定界限，又安置门闩和门户，说：‘你只可到这里，不可越过，你狂傲的波浪要在这里止住。’

使海，就是大渊的水干涸，使海的深处变为蒙救赎的人经过之路的，不是你吗？

你的道路经过海洋，你的路径穿过大水，但你的脚踪无人知道。你曾藉着摩西和亚伦的手，带领你的子民如同带领羊群一样。

他却把自己的子民领出来好像领羊群，在旷野引导他们像引导群畜一样。他带领他们平平安安地走过去，所以他们不惧怕；海却淹没了他们的仇敌。

你从水中经过的时候，我必与你同在；你渡过江河的时候，水必不淹没你；你从火中行走的时候，必不会烧伤；火焰也不会在你身上烧起来。

那使自己荣耀的膀臂在摩西的右边行走，那在他们面前把水分开，为要建立永远的名的，他在哪里呢？那带领他们走过深海，像马走过旷野一样，使他们不致跌倒的，在哪里呢？

水就停住了，那从上游流下来的水立起成垒，在很远的地方，就是在撒拉但旁边的亚当城那里停住；那往下流入亚拉巴海，就是盐海的水完全被截断；于是人民就在耶利哥的对面过了河。
