He jammed the wheels of their chariots so that they had difficulty driving. And the Egyptians said,“ Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for them against Egypt.”

He jammed the wheels of their chariots. That made the chariots hard to drive. The Egyptians said,“ Let’s get away from the Israelites! The Lord is fighting for Israel against Egypt.”

He caused their chariot wheels to swerve and made them drive with difficulty.“ Let’s get away from Israel,” the Egyptians said,“ because the LORD is fighting for them against Egypt!”

耶和華必代爾戰、爾惟默然。

毋畏、爾上帝耶和華必助爾戰。

使爾斃其馬、駕馬者見殺、使爾毀其車、乘車者被戮。

主立於壇側、我觀之、聞其詞曰、擊柱頂、震門橛、俱當損毀、壓於眾首、眾之子孫、我必加誅戮、逃匿者無人、得免者無人、

雅各之上帝兮、加以譴責、馬與乘者、淹然而就死地兮。

譬諸人避獅而遇熊、入室附壁、為蛇所嚙、

為上帝所射、不加矜恤、欲遁而不能、

非利士人懼曰、上帝至營。又曰、噫嘻、前此未嘗若是。昔在曠野、降災於埃及、即此有能之上帝、孰克拯我於其手乎。

三軍之帥、望風逃遁、居家之婦、亦分所得兮、

雖避鐵器、而傷於銅弓。

斷弓折戈、車爇以火、使在寰宇、人不興戎兮、

維彼惡人、其目必盲、逋逃無藪、彼之失望、與氣之垂盡無異也。

火焚喇巴城垣、燬其宮殿、戰鬥之日、大聲疾呼、勢若狂飆驟起、

耶和華助巴勒、使敗西西喇車騎及眾、悉潰亂焉。西西喇棄車、徒行而遁。
