景況好像人躲避獅子又遇見熊，或是進房屋以手靠牆，就被蛇咬。

神要向他射箭，並不留情；他恨不得逃脫神的手。

非利士人就懼怕起來，說：「有神到了他們營中」；又說：「我們有禍了！向來不曾有這樣的事。我們有禍了！誰能救我們脫離這些大能之神的手呢？從前在曠野用各樣災殃擊打埃及人的，就是這些神。

統兵的君王逃跑了，逃跑了；在家等候的婦女分受所奪的。

他要躲避鐵器；銅弓的箭要將他射透。

他止息刀兵，直到地極；他折弓、斷槍，把戰車焚燒在火中。

但惡人的眼目必要失明。他們無路可逃；他們的指望就是氣絕。

我卻要在爭戰吶喊的日子，旋風狂暴的時候，點火在拉巴的城內，燒滅其中的宮殿。

耶和華使西西拉和他一切車輛全軍潰亂，在巴拉面前被刀殺敗；西西拉下車步行逃跑。
