祂苦他们所苦，亲自拯救他们。祂本着慈爱和怜悯救赎了他们，自古以来一直扶持、照顾他们。

“看啊，我要差遣天使走在你前面，在路上保护你，带领你平安地到达我为你预备的地方。他是奉我的名来的，你们要谨遵他的话，不可悖逆，不然他必不赦免你们的过犯。

到了破晓时分，耶和华从云柱火柱中俯视埃及军队，扰乱他们的队伍。
