Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Hold out your walking stick. Reach out your hand over the Red Sea to divide the water. Then the people can go through the sea on dry ground.

摩西就帶着妻子和兩個兒子，讓他們騎着驢，回埃及地去：摩西也帶着上帝的杖在手裏。

摩西向海伸手，永恆主便終夜用極強的東風使海退去；他使海成了旱地；水也裂開了。以色列人下海中、在乾地上走；水在他們左右兩邊就像牆一樣。

萬軍之永恆主必揮起鞭子來攻擊他，像在俄立磐石那裏擊殺了米甸人一樣；他必向海揮杖，把杖舉起，像在埃及的樣子。

『你拿着手杖，召集會眾，你和你哥哥亞倫要召集他們；你們要在他們眼前吩咐磐石出水；你要為他們從磐石上引出水來、給會眾和他們的牲口喝。』於是摩西從永恆主面前拿了手杖去，照永恆主所吩咐他的。

『法老若對你們說：「施一件奇事來證明你們自己吧」，你就要對亞倫說：「拿你的手杖、丟在法老面前，使它變為蛇。」』

永恆主對摩西說：『你手裏那個是甚麼？』他說：『手杖。』

摩西舉手，用手杖把磐石擊打了兩下，就有許多水流了出來，會眾和他們的牲口都喝了。
