Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground.

Hold out your walking stick. Reach out your hand over the Red Sea to divide the water. Then the people can go through the sea on dry ground.

Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground.

Pick up your staff and raise your hand over the sea. Divide the water so the Israelites can walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground.

And take this staff in your hand that you will perform the signs with.”

Then the LORD said to Moses,“ Stretch out your hand over the sea so that the water may come back on the Egyptians, on their chariots and horsemen.”

So Moses took his wife and sons, put them on a donkey, and returned to the land of Egypt. And Moses took God’s staff in his hand.

Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea. The LORD drove the sea back with a powerful east wind all that night and turned the sea into dry land. So the waters were divided,and the Israelites went through the sea on dry ground, with the waters like a wall to them on their right and their left.

And the LORD of Armies will brandish a whip against him as he did when he struck Midian at the rock of Oreb; and he will raise his staff over the sea as he did in Egypt.

“ Take the staff and assemble the community. You and your brother Aaron are to speak to the rock while they watch, and it will yield its water. You will bring out water for them from the rock and provide drink for the community and their livestock.”So Moses took the staff from the LORD’s presence just as he had commanded him.

“ When Pharaoh tells you,‘ Perform a miracle,’ tell Aaron,‘ Take your staff and throw it down before Pharaoh. It will become a serpent.’”

The LORD asked him,“ What is that in your hand?”“ A staff,” he replied.

Then Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his staff, so that abundant water gushed out, and the community and their livestock drank.
