As Pharaoh approached, the Israelites looked up, and there were the Egyptians, marching after them. They were terrified and cried out to the Lord.

於是他們在危難中向耶和華呼求，他就解救他們脫離困境；

義人呼求，耶和華就垂聽，解救他們脫離一切的患難。

但是，他一看到風極大，就懼怕起來，開始往下沉，於是呼叫說：「主啊，救救我！」耶穌立刻伸手拉住他，說：「小信的人哪，你為什麼疑惑呢？」

「我，是我安慰你們；你是誰，竟怕那必死的人，就是那被棄如草芥的世人；竟忘記了那造你的耶和華，就是展開諸天、奠定大地根基的那一位；竟終日不斷地懼怕，就是懼怕壓迫者預備行毀滅時的怒火！其實那壓迫者的怒火在哪裡呢？

門徒們上前來叫醒他，說：「主啊，救救我們，我們沒命了！」耶穌對他們說：「為什麼膽怯呢？你們這些小信的人哪！」耶穌就起來，斥責風和浪，湖面就變得一片平靜。

於是他們在危難中向耶和華哀求，他就拯救他們脫離困境；

於是他們在危難中向耶和華呼求，他就把他們從困境中領出來。

耶和華啊，他們在危難中尋求你；你的管教臨到他們，他們就低聲向你傾心吐意！

有人向大衛家報告說：「亞蘭已經與以法蓮結盟了。」王的心和他子民的心就搖動，好像林中的樹隨風搖動。

然而，當他聽到他們呼聲的時候，就垂顧他們的危難，

他們在無可恐懼之處也會大大恐懼；因為神打散了那些紮營攻擊你之人的骨頭。你使他們蒙羞，因為神厭棄他們。

「凡這子民所稱為陰謀的，你們不要稱為陰謀；他們所怕的，你們不要害怕，也不要畏懼。萬軍之耶和華是你們要尊為聖的，他才是你們要怕的，也是你們要畏懼的。

於是他們在危難中向耶和華哀求，他就拯救他們脫離困境；
