他们在急难中呼求耶和华，耶和华就救他们脱离困苦；

义人哀求，耶和华就垂听，搭救他们脱离一切患难，

但他一见风浪就害怕，快要沉下去的时候，就呼叫：“主啊！救我！”耶稣马上伸手拉住他，对他说：“小信的人哪，为什么疑惑？”

“我，我耶和华是安慰你们的；你是谁，竟怕那会死的人，怕那被造如草的世人呢？你忘记了造你的耶和华，就是那展开诸天，奠定大地的根基的；又因那欺压者准备行毁灭的时候所发的烈怒，你就终日不住惧怕呢？其实那欺压者的烈怒在哪里呢？

他们走来把他叫醒，说：“主啊！救命啊！我们没命了！”耶稣却对他们说：“小信的人哪！为什么害怕呢？”他就起来斥责风和海，风浪就完全平静了。

住在黎巴嫩，在香柏林中搭窝的啊！有痛苦临到你，像产妇剧痛的时候，你要怎样呻吟呢？”

他们在急难中呼求耶和华，耶和华就拯救他们脱离困苦。

耶和华啊！我们在急难中寻求你；你的惩罚临到我们身上的时候，我们就倾心吐意低声祷告。

有人告诉大卫家说：“亚兰已经在以法莲地安营。”王的心和人民的心就都震动，像林中的树被风摇动一样。

可是他听到了他们哀叫的时候，就垂顾他们的苦难。

他们在无可惊惧的时候，必大大震惊；因为神把那些扎营攻击你的人的骨头击散了；他们蒙羞受辱，因为神弃绝了他们。

众战车队长看见约沙法，就都心里说：“这必是以色列王。”于是都绕过去攻击他。约沙法呼救，耶和华就帮助他；神又使敌人离开他。

“这子民所称为阴谋的，你们都不要称为阴谋；他们所怕的，你们不要怕，也不要畏惧。你们要尊万军之耶和华为圣，他是你们当怕的，也是你们当畏惧的。

于是他们在急难中呼求耶和华，他就拯救他们脱离困苦。
