And you shall tell your son on that day, saying,‘ It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

当那日，你要告诉你的儿子说：‘这是因耶和华在我出埃及的时候为我所行的事。

那时，要告诉你们的子孙，‘这节期是纪念我们离开埃及时耶和华为我们所做的一切。’

在那日，你要告诉你的儿子说：‘这是因为耶和华在我从埃及出来的时候为我所行的事。’

當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這是因耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所行的事。

當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這樣做是因為耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所做的事。』

當那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：『這樣做是因為耶和華在我出埃及的時候為我所做的事。』

那時，要告訴你們的子孫，『這節期是紀念我們離開埃及時耶和華為我們所做的一切。』

在那日，你要告訴你的兒子說：‘這是因為耶和華在我從埃及出來的時候為我所行的事。’

當那一天，你要告訴你的兒子說：「這是因為永恆主在我出埃及的時候為我行的事。」

其時當告汝子云、是禮也、乃誌出埃及時、耶和華為我所行者、

當告子孫、昔出埃及、耶和華拯我儕、故行此禮。

當日宜告爾子云、我行此禮、以誌我出伊及時主向我所行之事、

On that day tell your son,‘ I do this because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

On that day talk to your child. Say,‘ I’m doing this because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

You shall tell your son on that day,‘ It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

“ On the seventh day you must explain to your children,‘ I am celebrating what the Lord did for me when I left Egypt.’

On that day explain to your son,‘ This is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

And you shall tell your son in that day, saying,‘ This is done because of what the Lord did for me when I came up from Egypt.’

And thou shalt tell thy son in that day, saying, It is because of that which Jehovah did for me when I came forth out of Egypt.

On that day explain to your son,‘ This is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

And thou shalt shew thy son in that day, saying,[ This is done] because of that[ which] the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

You are to tell your son on that day,‘ It is because of what the LORD did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

You shall tell your son in that day, saying,‘ It is because of that which Yahweh did for me when I came out of Egypt.’

And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying,‘ What is this?’ then you shall say to him,‘ With a powerful hand the Lord brought us out of Egypt, from the house of slavery.

God, we have heard with our ears, Our fathers have told us The work that You did in their days, In the days of old.

It is the living who give thanks to You, as I do today; A father tells his sons about Your faithfulness.

And when your children say to you,‘ What does this rite mean to you?’then you shall say,‘ It is a Passover sacrifice to the Lord because He passed over the houses of the sons of Israel in Egypt when He struck the Egyptians, but spared our homes.’ ” And the people bowed low and worshiped.

“ Only be careful for yourself and watch over your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.Remember the day you stood before the Lord your God at Horeb, when the Lord said to me,‘ Assemble the people to Me, that I may have them hear My words so that they may learn to fear Me all the days that they live on the earth, and that they may teach their children.’

and that you may tell in the presence of your son, and of your grandson, how I made a mockery of the Egyptians and how I performed My signs among them, so that you may know that I am the Lord.”

Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have told us.We will not conceal them from their children, But we will tell the generation to come the praises of the Lord, And His power and His wondrous works that He has done.For He established a testimony in Jacob, And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they were to teach them to their children,So that the generation to come would know, the children yet to be born, That they would arise and tell them to their children,So that they would put their confidence in God And not forget the works of God, But comply with His commandments,And not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not prepare its heart And whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord.
