When the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites— the land he swore to your ancestors to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey— you are to observe this ceremony in this month:

The Lord will bring you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites and Jebusites. He promised your people of long ago that he would give that land to you. It’s a land that has plenty of milk and honey. When you get there, celebrate this holy day in this month.

And when the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Amorites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he swore to your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you shall keep this service in this month.

You must celebrate this event in this month each year after the Lord brings you into the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Hivites, and Jebusites.( He swore to your ancestors that he would give you this land— a land flowing with milk and honey.)

日后，你们进了耶和华应许赐给你们的那地的时候，就必须守这敬拜之礼。日后，如果你们的子孙问你们：‘你们这敬拜之礼有什么意思？’

我举手起誓要给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地，我必领你们进去；我也必把那地赐给你们作产业；我是耶和华。’”

我今天吩咐你的，你务要遵守。看哪，我要把亚摩利人、迦南人、赫人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，从你面前赶逐出去。

我也曾说：“我要把你们从埃及的痛苦中领出来，到迦南人、赫人、亚摩利人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人之地去，就是到流奶与蜜之地去。”’

‘因为耶和华不能把这民领进他向他们起誓应许的地，所以在旷野把他们杀了。’

我要与你，和你世世代代的后裔，坚立我的约，成为永远的约，使我作你和你的后裔的神。我要把你现在寄居的地，就是迦南全地，赐给你和你的后裔，作永远的产业，我也要作他们的神。”

约瑟对他的兄弟们说：“我快要死了，但神必定眷顾你们，领你们从这地上到他起誓应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各之地去。”

“耶和华你的神把你将要进去赶走的列国的民，从你的面前除灭以后，你就得着他们的地，住在那里。

说：“耶和华说：‘我指着自己起誓，你既然作了这事，没有留下你的儿子、你的独生子，我必定赐福给你，必使你的后裔繁多，像天上的星，海边的沙；你的后裔必占领仇敌的城门。地上万国都要因你的后裔得福，因为你听从了我的话。’”

就在那时候，耶和华与亚伯兰立约说：“我已经把这地赐给你的后裔了，就是从埃及河直到幼发拉底河之地；就是基尼人、基尼洗人、甲摩尼人、赫人、比利洗人、利乏音人、亚摩利人、迦南人、革迦撒人、耶布斯人之地。”

‘从埃及上来二十岁及以上的人，必不得看见我对亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各起誓应许的地，因为他们没有专心跟从我。

耶和华对摩西说：“你和你从埃及地领出来的人民要离开这里，上我曾经起誓应许给亚伯拉罕、以撒、雅各的地去，我曾应许：‘我要把这地赐给你的后裔。’

你要寄居在这地，我必与你同在，必赐福给你，因为我要把这全地都赐给你和你的后裔，履行我向你父亲亚伯拉罕所起的誓。

都不得进入我起誓给你们居住的那地；只有耶孚尼的儿子迦勒和嫩的儿子约书亚才可以进去。

“耶和华你的神把列国的民剪除了，耶和华你的神把他们的地赐给了你，你赶走了那些国民，住在他们的城市和房屋以后，

“耶和华你的神领你进入你要去得为业的地，从你面前赶走许多民族，就是赫人、革迦撒人、亚摩利人、迦南人、比利洗人、希未人、耶布斯人，共七个比你又大又强的民族。
