“ Consecrate to me every firstborn male. The first offspring of every womb among the Israelites belongs to me, whether human or animal.”

因为凡头生的是我的；我在埃及地击杀一切头生的那日就把以色列中一切头生的，连人带牲畜都分别为圣归我；他们定要属我。我是耶和华。”

因为他们是从以色列人中全然给我的，我拣选他们归我，是代替以色列人中一切头生的。以色列人中一切头生的，连人带牲畜，都是我的。我在埃及地击杀一切头生的那天，将他们分别为圣归我。

你要对法老说：‘耶和华这样说：以色列是我的儿子，我的长子。

那时你要将一切头生的，并牲畜中头生的，归给耶和华；公的都要属耶和华。凡头生的驴，你要用羊羔代赎；若不代赎，就要打折它的颈项。凡你儿子中头生的都要赎出来。日后，你的儿子问你说：‘这是什么意思？’你就说：‘耶和华用大能的手将我们从埃及为奴之家领出来。那时法老几乎不容我们去，耶和华就把埃及地所有头生的，无论是人是牲畜，都杀了。因此，我把一切头生的公牲畜献给耶和华为祭，但将头生的儿子都赎出来。

凡头生的都是我的；一切牲畜头生的，无论是牛是羊，公的都是我的。头生的驴要用羊羔代赎，若不代赎就要打折它的颈项。凡头生的儿子都要赎出来。谁也不可空手朝见我。
