“所以你们要把我这些话放在心里，存在意念中；要系在手上作记号，戴在额上作头带。

他们所作的一切，都是要作给人看：他们把经文的匣子做大了，衣服的繸子做长了；

这血要在你们居住的房屋上作你们的记号；我击打埃及地的时候，一看见这血，就越过你们去，灾祸必不临到你们身上毁灭你们。

耶和华就用大能的手和伸出来的膀臂，以及大而可畏的事、神迹和奇事，把我们从埃及领出来。

你要把这些话不断地教训你的儿女，无论你坐在家里，或行在路上，或躺下，或起来的时候，都要谈论。你也要把这些话系在手上作记号，戴在额上作头带。又要写在你房屋的门柱上和城门上。
