“他们的所作所为是为了给人看的，他们把额上佩戴的经文盒子加宽了，又将衣裳的穗边加长了。

涂在你们房屋上的血是一个记号，我见到这血就会越过你们。我击打埃及的时候，那灾祸不会落到你们身上。

就伸出臂膀，用大能的手行神迹奇事，以伟大而可畏的作为带领我们离开埃及。

并教导你们的儿女，无论在家在外，或起或卧，都要讲论这些律例和诫命。要把它们系在手上、戴在额上作记号，要写在城门上和自家的门框上。
