他们就要在二月十四日黄昏的时候守节，要吃羔羊，以及无酵饼和苦菜。

希律和本丢‧彼拉多，同外邦人和以色列民，果然在这城里聚集，要攻打你所膏的圣仆耶稣，

“我已经听见以色列人的怨言了。你要对他们说：‘到黄昏的时候，你们要吃肉，早晨也必有食物得饱。你们就知道我是耶和华—你们的上帝。’”

“正月十四日，你们要守逾越节，七天的节期都要吃无酵饼。

以色列人出埃及地以后，第二年正月，耶和华在西奈的旷野吩咐摩西说：“以色列人应当在所定的日期守逾越节。你们要在本月十四日黄昏的时候，在所定的日期守这节，按照一切的律例典章守节。”

众人都起来，把耶稣解到彼拉多面前。

众人上去求彼拉多照常例给他们办理。

祭司长和长老挑唆众人，要求释放巴拉巴，除掉耶稣。

第一日要有圣会，任何劳动的工都不可做。

从正月十四日晚上，直到二十一日晚上，你们要吃无酵饼。

众人却一齐喊着说：“除掉这个人！释放巴拉巴给我们！”

众人都回答：“他的血归到我们和我们的子孙身上！”

“你要守亚笔月，向耶和华—你的上帝守逾越节，因为在亚笔月，耶和华—你的上帝在夜间领你出埃及。你当在那里，耶和华选择作为他名居所的地方，从羊群牛群中，将逾越节的祭牲献给耶和华—你的上帝。这祭牲不可和有酵的东西一起吃。因为你曾匆忙离开埃及地，你要吃无酵饼，就是困苦饼七日，好让你一生的年日记得你从埃及地出来的那一日。在你全境内，七日不可见到酵母。第一日晚上所献的肉，一点也不可留到早晨。你不可在耶和华—你上帝所赐的各城中，任何一座城里，献逾越节的祭，只可在那里，耶和华—你上帝选择作为他名居所的地方，在晚上日落的时候，就是你出埃及的时候，献逾越节的祭。

他既按着上帝确定的旨意和预知被交与人，你们就藉着不法之人的手把他钉在十字架上，杀了。

一到早晨，众祭司长、长老、文士，和全议会的人大家商议，就把耶稣绑着，解去，交给彼拉多。

他们把他钉十字架的时候是上午九点钟。

约在下午三点钟，耶稣大声高呼，说：“以利！以利！拉马撒巴各大尼？”就是说：“我的上帝！我的上帝！为什么离弃我？”站在那里的人，有的听见就说：“这个人呼叫以利亚呢！”其中有一个人立刻跑去，拿海绵蘸满了醋，绑在芦苇秆上，送给他喝。其余的人说：“且等着，看以利亚来不来救他。”耶稣又大喊一声，气就断了。

到了正午，全地都黑暗了，直到下午三点钟。下午三点钟的时候，耶稣大声呼喊：“以罗伊！以罗伊！拉马撒巴各大尼？”（翻出来就是：我的上帝！我的上帝！为什么离弃我？）

但是祭司长们煽动众人，宁可要他释放巴拉巴给他们。

我们都如羊走迷，各人偏行己路；耶和华使我们众人的罪孽都归在他身上。

你们弃绝了那圣洁公义者，反而要求释放一个凶手给你们。
