Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the members of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight.

『正月十四日、是向永恆主守的逾越節。

二月十四日他們宰了逾越節的羊羔；祭司們和利未人們覺得慚愧，就潔淨自己為聖，把燔祭奉到永恆主殿中。遵着神人摩西的律法、照規矩站在自己的地位，祭司們從利未人們手裏接過來，將血去潑祭壇。在大眾中有許多人還沒有潔淨自己為聖，所以利未人有責任為一切不潔淨的人宰逾越節的羊羔，使他們在永恆主面前成為聖潔。實際上眾民中有大部分、屬以法蓮、瑪拿西、以薩迦、西布倫的人、許多沒有潔淨自己、便喫逾越節的羊羔，不遵照所記載的例：希西家就為他們禱告說：『凡立定心意、專一尋求上帝、永恆主他們列祖的上帝的，雖不遵照潔聖的潔淨禮，但願至善的永恆主也赦宥他。』

那麼他們就要在二月十四日傍晚時分舉行，要拌着無酵餅和苦菜喫。

希律和本丟彼拉多、同外國人和以色列眾族之民、真地在這城裏聚集，攻打你所膏立的聖僕耶穌，

以色列人的怨言、我已經聽見了；你要告訴他們說：「傍晚時分你們必喫肉；早晨你們必有食物喫飽，你們就知道我永恆主乃是你們的上帝。」』

『正月十四日、你們要守逾越的節期七天；喫的應當是無酵餅。

以色列人出埃及地的第二年、正月、在西乃的曠野、永恆主告訴摩西說：『你要叫以色列人在制定時間內舉行逾越節。本月十四日、傍晚時分、你們要在制定時間內舉行這節，要照它的一切條例一切典章來舉行。』

於是他們全羣的眾人都起來，把耶穌帶到彼拉多面前，

羣眾就上去，求皇省長照平常所作的給他們作。

祭司長和長老挑唆羣眾、求要巴拉巴而殺滅耶穌。

頭一天要有聖聚會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可作，

正月十四日晚上、到二十一日晚上你們要喫無酵餅。

他們卻一齊高聲喊着說：『除掉這個人，釋放巴拉巴給我們。』

眾民都回答說：『他的血歸到我們、和我們的子孫身上。』

你要守亞筆月，向永恆主你的上帝舉行逾越節，因為永恆主你的上帝領你們出埃及、是在亞筆月夜裏。你要在永恆主所要選擇做他名之居所的地方、將羊和牛做逾越祭牲、宰獻與永恆主你的上帝。不可將有酵餅連祭肉一齊喫；七天之內要將無酵餅、就是困苦餅、連祭肉一齊喫——因為你出埃及地、是慌慌張張出來的——好使你一生的日子都能記念你從埃及地出來的日子。你全境內、七天都不可見有酵在你那裏：頭一天晚上你所宰獻的肉、一點也不可留過夜到早晨。你不能在永恆主你的上帝所賜給你的任一座城去宰獻逾越節祭牲；你只能到永恆主你的上帝所要選擇做他名之居所的地方、在晚上日落的時候、你出埃及的時刻、在那裏去宰獻逾越節祭牲；

這個人、按着上帝所立定的計畫和豫知被送官，你們藉着不法之人的手給釘上，殺掉了。

一到早晨、祭司長同長老經學士和全議院既準備好了商議的事，隨即把耶穌捆住，帶走，送交給彼拉多。

是上午九點，他們把他釘十字架的。

約在下午三點的時候，耶穌大聲高呼說：『以利，以利，拉馬撒巴各大尼？』就是說：『我的上帝，我的上帝，你為甚麼撇棄我？』在那裏站着的人有的聽見了就說：『這個人呼叫以利亞呢。』其中有一個人即刻跑去，拿海絨蘸滿了酸酒，綁在葦子上，給他喝；其餘的人卻說：『算了罷，看以利亞來救他不。』耶穌又大聲喊叫，就把靈交放了。

到了中午十二點、黑暗佈滿了整個地方，直到下午三點。下午三點的時候，耶穌大聲呼喊說：『以羅伊，以羅伊，拉馬撒巴各大尼？』翻譯出來就是說：『我的上帝，我的上帝，你為甚麼撇棄我？』

祭司長卻挑唆羣眾寧可要他釋放巴拉巴給他們。

我們都如同羊、走迷了途，各人偏向自行的路；永恆主卻使我們眾人的罪孽罪罰都集歸在他身上。

你們棄絕了那聖潔而正義的，反而求把一個做兇手的人給予你們。
