All the Israelites did just what the Lord had commanded Moses and Aaron.

Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it.

His mother said to the servants,“ Whatever he says to you, do it.”

At the end of four hundred thirty years, to the day, all of Yahweh’s armies went out from the land of Egypt.

You are my friends, if you do whatever I command you.

“ Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on a rock.The rain came down, the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat on that house; and it didn’t fall, for it was founded on the rock.

These are that Aaron and Moses to whom Yahweh said,“ Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies.”

If you know these things, blessed are you if you do them.

Now, Israel, listen to the statutes and to the ordinances which I teach you, to do them; that you may live, and go in and possess the land which Yahweh, the God of your fathers, gives you.You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of Yahweh your God which I command you.

But Pharaoh will not listen to you, so I will lay my hand on Egypt, and bring out my armies, my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
