The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and for clothing.

Put them on your children. In that way, you will take the wealth of Egypt along with you.”

Tell the men and women alike to ask their neighbors for things made out of silver and gold.”The Lord caused the Egyptians to treat the Israelites in a kind way. Pharaoh’s officials and the people had great respect for Moses.

He brought the people of Israel out of Egypt. The Egyptians loaded them down with silver and gold. From among the tribes of Israel no one got tired or fell down.
