Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each man is to take a lamb for his family, one for each household.

Speak to the whole community of Israel. Tell them that on the tenth day of this month each man must get a lamb from his flock. A lamb should be chosen for each family and home.

Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household.

Announce to the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month each family must choose a lamb or a young goat for a sacrifice, one animal for each household.

Tell the whole community of Israel that on the tenth day of this month they must each select an animal of the flock according to their fathers’ families, one animal per family.

Speak to all the congregation of Israel, saying:‘ On the tenth of this month every man shall take for himself a lamb, according to the house of his father, a lamb for a household.

Then they said to Moses,“ Speak to us yourself and we will listen; but do not have God speak to us, or we will die!”

Say, therefore, to the sons of Israel,‘ I am the Lord, and I will bring you out from under the labors of the Egyptians, and I will rescue you from their bondage. I will also redeem you with an outstretched arm, and with great judgments.

Then the Lord said to Moses,“ Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the sons of Israel to go forward.

Clean out the old leaven so that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed.

Samuel took a nursing lamb and offered it as a whole burnt offering to the Lord; and Samuel cried out to the Lord for Israel, and the Lord answered him.

On the next day, when the large crowd that had come to the feast heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

He shall also bring his guilt offering to the Lord for his sin which he has committed, a female from the flock, a lamb or a goat as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement on his behalf for his sin.

Abel, on his part also brought an offering, from the firstborn of his flock and from their fat portions. And the Lord had regard for Abel and his offering;

and he looked at Jesus as He walked, and* said,“ Behold, the Lamb of God!”

Josiah contributed to the lay people, to all who were present, flocks of lambs and young goats, all for the Passover offerings, numbering thirty thousand, plus three thousand bulls; these were from the king’s property.

and Aaron spoke all the words which the Lord had spoken to Moses. He then performed the signs in the sight of the people.

Abraham said,“ God will provide for Himself the lamb for the burnt offering, my son.” So the two of them walked on together.

You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to slaughter it at twilight.

The next day he* saw Jesus coming to him, and* said,“ Behold, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!

Now the Lord spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tent of meeting, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying,“ Take a census of all the congregation of the sons of Israel, by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, every male, head by headfrom twenty years old and upward, whoever is able to go to war in Israel. You and Aaron shall count them by their armies.With you, moreover, there shall be a man of each tribe, each one head of his father’s household.These then are the names of the men who shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben, Elizur the son of Shedeur;of the tribe of Simeon, Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai;of the tribe of Judah, Nahshon the son of Amminadab;of Issachar, Nethanel the son of Zuar;of Zebulun, Eliab the son of Helon;of the sons of Joseph: of Ephraim, Elishama the son of Ammihud; of Manasseh, Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur;of Benjamin, Abidan the son of Gideoni;of Dan, Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai;of Asher, Pagiel the son of Ochran;of Gad, Eliasaph the son of Deuel;of Naphtali, Ahira the son of Enan.These are the men who were called from the congregation, the leaders of their fathers’ tribes; they were the heads of divisions of Israel.”So Moses and Aaron took these men who had been designated by name,and they assembled all the congregation on the first day of the second month. Then they registered by ancestry in their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, head by head,just as the Lord had commanded Moses. So he counted them in the wilderness of Sinai.Now the sons of Reuben, Israel’s firstborn, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, head by head, every male from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Reuben were 46,500.Of the sons of Simeon, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, their numbered men, according to the number of names, head by head, every male from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Simeon were 59,300.Of the sons of Gad, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Gad were 45,650.Of the sons of Judah, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Judah were 74,600.Of the sons of Issachar, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Issachar were 54,400.Of the sons of Zebulun, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Zebulun were 57,400.Of the sons of Joseph, namely, of the sons of Ephraim, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Ephraim were 40,500.Of the sons of Manasseh, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Manasseh were 32,200.Of the sons of Benjamin, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Benjamin were 35,400.Of the sons of Dan, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Dan were 62,700.Of the sons of Asher, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Asher were 41,500.Of the sons of Naphtali, their descendants by their families, by their fathers’ households, according to the number of names, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war,their numbered men of the tribe of Naphtali were 53,400.These are the ones who were numbered, whom Moses and Aaron counted, with the leaders of Israel, twelve men, each of whom was of his father’s household.So all the numbered men of the sons of Israel by their fathers’ households, from twenty years old and upward, whoever was able to go to war in Israel,all the numbered men were 603,550.The Levites, however, were not counted among them by their fathers’ tribe.For the Lord had spoken to Moses, saying,“ Only the tribe of Levi you shall not count, nor shall you take their census among the sons of Israel.And you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of the testimony, and over all its furnishings and over everything that belongs to it. They shall carry the tabernacle and all its furnishings, and they shall take care of it; they shall also camp around the tabernacle.So when the tabernacle is to move on, the Levites shall take it down; and when the tabernacle encamps, the Levites shall set it up. But the layman who comes near it shall be put to death.So the sons of Israel shall camp, each man by his own camp, and each man by his own flag, according to their armies.But the Levites shall camp around the tabernacle of the testimony, so that there will be no divine wrath against the congregation of the sons of Israel. So the Levites shall be responsible for service to the tabernacle of the testimony.”And the sons of Israel did so; in accordance with all that the Lord had commanded Moses, so they did.

“ Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them,‘ When anyone of you brings an offering to the Lord, you shall bring your offering of livestock from the herd or the flock.

‘ This is how it shall be done for each ox, or for each ram, or for each of the male lambs, or of the goats.

Therefore, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

All who live on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written since the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slaughtered.

And I saw between the throne( with the four living creatures) and the elders a Lamb standing, as if slaughtered, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.And He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.When He had taken the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty four elders fell down before the Lamb, each one holding a harp and golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints.And they* sang a new song, saying,“ Worthy are You to take the scroll and to break its seals; for You were slaughtered, and You purchased people for God with Your blood from every tribe, language, people, and nation.You have made them into a kingdom and priests to our God, and they will reign upon the earth.”Then I looked, and I heard the voices of many angels around the throne and the living creatures and the elders; and the number of them was myriads of myriads, and thousands of thousands,saying with a loud voice,“ Worthy is the Lamb that was slaughtered to receive power, wealth, wisdom, might, honor, glory, and blessing.”And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,“ To Him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be the blessing, the honor, the glory, and the dominion forever and ever.”

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all the tribes, peoples, and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;and they* cried out with a loud voice, saying,“ Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.”And all the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures; and they fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,saying,“ Amen, blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might belong to our God forever and ever. Amen.”Then one of the elders responded, saying to me,“ These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?”I said to him,“ My lord, you know.” And he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
