Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel, and told them,“ Go and select for yourselves a lamb or young goat for your families, and kill the Passover animals.

Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them,“ Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb.

Then Moses sent for all the elders of Israel. He said to them,“ Go at once. Choose the animals for your families. Each family must kill a Passover lamb.

Then Moses called all the elders of Israel and said to them,“ Go and select lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and kill the Passover lamb.

Then Moses called all the elders of Israel together and said to them,“ Go, pick out a lamb or young goat for each of your families, and slaughter the Passover animal.

Now on the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread, when the Passover lamb is sacrificed, Jesus’ disciples said to him,“ Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”He sent two of his disciples and told them,“ Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him.Wherever he enters, tell the owner of the house,‘ The Teacher says,“ Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make preparations for us there.”So the disciples left, went into the city, and found things just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

“ Go and bring together the elders of Israel and tell them,‘ The LORD, the God of your fathers, appeared to me– the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob– saying,“ I have attended carefully to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt,

Now on the first day of the feast of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and said,“ Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?”He said,“ Go into the city to a certain man and tell him,‘ The Teacher says,“ My time is near. I will observe the Passover with my disciples at your house.”’”So the disciples did as Jesus had instructed them, and they prepared the Passover.

They slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and Levites were ashamed, so they consecrated themselves and brought burnt sacrifices to the LORD’s temple.They stood at their posts according to the regulations outlined in the law of Moses, the man of God. The priests were splashing the blood as the Levites handed it to them.Because many in the assembly had not consecrated themselves, the Levites slaughtered the Passover lambs of all who were ceremonially unclean and could not consecrate their sacrifice to the LORD.

So the Israelites camped in Gilgal and celebrated the Passover in the evening of the fourteenth day of the month on the plains of Jericho.

Then the day for the feast of Unleavened Bread came, on which the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.Jesus sent Peter and John, saying,“ Go and prepare the Passover for us to eat.”They said to him,“ Where do you want us to prepare it?”He said to them,“ Listen, when you have entered the city, a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him into the house that he enters,and tell the owner of the house,‘ The Teacher says to you,“ Where is the guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’Then he will show you a large furnished room upstairs. Make preparations there.”So they went and found things just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

So Moses came and summoned the elders of Israel. He set before them all these words that the LORD had commanded him,

The LORD said to Moses,“ Go over before the people; take with you some of the elders of Israel and take in your hand your staff with which you struck the Nile and go.

Stand in the sanctuary and, together with the Levites, represent the family divisions of your countrymen.Slaughter the Passover lambs, consecrate yourselves, and make preparations for your countrymen to do what the LORD commanded through Moses.”

The LORD said to Moses,“ Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know are elders of the people and officials over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting; let them take their position there with you.

“ The Israelites are to observe the Passover at its appointed time.In the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you are to observe it at its appointed time; you must keep it in accordance with all its statutes and all its customs.”So Moses instructed the Israelites to observe the Passover.And they observed the Passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at twilight in the wilderness of Sinai; in accordance with all that the LORD had commanded Moses, so the Israelites did.

This is how you are to eat it– dressed to travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in haste. It is the LORD’S Passover.

The priests and the Levites had purified themselves, every last one, and they all were ceremonially pure. They sacrificed the Passover lamb for all the exiles, for their colleagues the priests, and for themselves.

The king ordered all the people,“ Observe the Passover of the LORD your God, as prescribed in this scroll of the covenant.”

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they were all drinking from the spiritual rock that followed them, and the rock was Christ.
