Then Moses summoned all the elders of Israel and said to them,“ Go at once and select the animals for your families and slaughter the Passover lamb.

Then Moses sent for all the elders of Israel. He said to them,“ Go at once. Choose the animals for your families. Each family must kill a Passover lamb.

Then Moses called all the elders of Israel and said to them,“ Go and select lambs for yourselves according to your clans, and kill the Passover lamb.

Then Moses called all the elders of Israel together and said to them,“ Go, pick out a lamb or young goat for each of your families, and slaughter the Passover animal.

On the first day of Unleavened Bread, when they sacrifice the Passover lamb, his disciples asked him,“ Where do you want us to go and prepare the Passover so that you may eat it?”So he sent two of his disciples and told them,“ Go into the city, and a man carrying a jar of water will meet you. Follow him.Wherever he enters, tell the owner of the house,‘ The Teacher says,“ Where is my guest room where I may eat the Passover with my disciples?”’He will show you a large room upstairs, furnished and ready. Make the preparations for us there.”So the disciples went out, entered the city, and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

“ Go and assemble the elders of Israel and say to them: The LORD, the God of your ancestors, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, has appeared to me and said: I have paid close attention to you and to what has been done to you in Egypt.

On the first day of Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus and asked,“ Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?”“ Go into the city to a certain man,” he said,“ and tell him,‘ The Teacher says: My time is near; I am celebrating the Passover at your place with my disciples.’”So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

They slaughtered the Passover lamb on the fourteenth day of the second month. The priests and Levites were ashamed, and they consecrated themselves and brought burnt offerings to the LORD’s temple.They stood at their prescribed posts, according to the law of Moses, the man of God. The priests splattered the blood received from the Levites,for there were many in the assembly who had not consecrated themselves, and so the Levites were in charge of slaughtering the Passover lambs for every unclean person to consecrate the lambs to the LORD.

While the Israelites camped at Gilgal on the plains of Jericho, they observed the Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the month.

Then the Day of Unleavened Bread came when the Passover lamb had to be sacrificed.Jesus sent Peter and John, saying,“ Go and make preparations for us to eat the Passover.”“ Where do you want us to prepare it?” they asked him.“ Listen,” he said to them,“ when you’ve entered the city, a man carrying a water jug will meet you. Follow him into the house he enters.Tell the owner of the house,‘ The Teacher asks you,“ Where is the guest room where I can eat the Passover with my disciples?”’Then he will show you a large, furnished room upstairs. Make the preparations there.”So they went and found it just as he had told them, and they prepared the Passover.

After Moses came back, he summoned the elders of the people and set before them all these words that the LORD had commanded him.

The LORD answered Moses,“ Go on ahead of the people and take some of the elders of Israel with you. Take the staff you struck the Nile with in your hand and go.

Serve in the holy place by the groupings of the ancestral families for your brothers, the lay people, and according to the division of the Levites by family.Slaughter the Passover lambs, consecrate yourselves, and make preparations for your brothers to carry out the word of the LORD through Moses.”

The LORD answered Moses,“ Bring me seventy men from Israel known to you as elders and officers of the people. Take them to the tent of meeting and have them stand there with you.

“ The Israelites are to observe the Passover at its appointed time.You must observe it at its appointed time on the fourteenth day of this month at twilight; you are to observe it according to all its statutes and ordinances.”So Moses told the Israelites to observe the Passover,and they observed it in the first month on the fourteenth day at twilight in the Wilderness of Sinai. The Israelites did everything as the LORD had commanded Moses.

Here is how you must eat it: You must be dressed for travel, your sandals on your feet, and your staff in your hand. You are to eat it in a hurry; it is the LORD’s Passover.

All of the priests and Levites were ceremonially clean, because they had purified themselves. They killed the Passover lamb for themselves, their priestly brothers, and all the exiles.

The king commanded all the people,“ Observe the Passover of the LORD your God as written in the book of the covenant.”

and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank from the spiritual rock that followed them, and that rock was Christ.
