『七月初十日、是除罪日；你們要有聖聚會，要刻苦自己，要將火祭獻與永恆主。

永恆主這麼說：為了自己性命的緣故、你們要謹慎，不可在安息之日挑甚麼擔子，或帶進耶路撒冷的各門。也不可在安息之日從你們家中挑出擔子；甚麼工都不可作，只要以安息之日為聖日，照我所吩咐你們列祖的。」

在這一天、你們要宣告，要有聖聚會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可作：這在你們一切的住所要做你們世世代代永遠的條例。

『七月十五日、你們要有聖聚會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可作，只要過節拜永恆主七天；

『你要告訴以色列人說；七月初一日、你們要完全歇息，要大吹號筒做記念日，要有聖聚會。甚麼勞碌的工都不可作；要將火祭獻與永恆主。』

你們看，永恆主將安息日賜給你們，所以第六天他賜給你們兩天的食物：第七天各人要住在自己的所在；各人都不要出自己的地方。』

七月初一日、你們要有聖聚會；甚麼勞碌的工都不可作。這是你們大吹角聲的日子。

『你要告訴以色列人說：永恆主的制定節期、你們所要宣告為聖聚會的、以下這些便是我的制定節期。工要六日之間作；但第七日是完全歇工的安息日、有聖聚會；甚麼工都不可作：在你們一切的住所、這是歸永恆主的安息日。
