And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them[ such things as they required]. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

I clothed thee also with broidered work, and shod thee with badgers’ skin, and I girded thee about with fine linen, and I covered thee with silk.I decked thee also with ornaments, and I put bracelets upon thy hands, and a chain on thy neck.And I put a jewel on thy forehead, and earrings in thine ears, and a beautiful crown upon thine head.Thus wast thou decked with gold and silver; and thy raiment[ was of] fine linen, and silk, and broidered work; thou didst eat fine flour, and honey, and oil: and thou wast exceeding beautiful, and thou didst prosper into a kingdom.

Thus God hath taken away the cattle of your father, and given[ them] to me.

A good[ man] leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner[ is] laid up for the just.

Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;He may prepare[ it], but the just shall put[ it] on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which[ are] in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring[ them] unto me.And all the people brake off the golden earrings which[ were] in their ears, and brought[ them] unto Aaron.And he received[ them] at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These[ be] thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and[ there was] not one feeble[ person] among their tribes.

And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted,[ and] brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered[ offered] an offering of gold unto the LORD.

The silver[ is] mine, and the gold[ is] mine, saith the LORD of hosts.

And I said unto them, Whosoever hath any gold, let them break[ it] off. So they gave[ it] me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.

Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thine eye evil, because I am good?

The earth[ is] the LORD’S, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying,This month[ shall be] unto you the beginning of months: it[ shall be] the first month of the year to you.
