Moses answered,“ We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, and with our flocks and herds, because we are to celebrate a festival to the Lord.”

Moses answered,“ We’ll go with our young people and old people. We’ll go with our sons and daughters. We’ll take our flocks and herds. We are supposed to hold a feast to honor the Lord.”

Moses said,“ We will go with our young and our old. We will go with our sons and daughters and with our flocks and herds, for we must hold a feast to the Lord.”

Moses replied,“ We will all go— young and old, our sons and daughters, and our flocks and herds. We must all join together in celebrating a festival to the Lord.”

Moses replied,“ We will go with our young and with our old; we will go with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds because we must hold the LORD’s festival.”

Moses said,“ We shall go with our young and our old; with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds we shall go, for we must hold a feast to the Lord.”

And Moses said,“ We will go with our young and our old; with our sons and our daughters, with our flocks and our herds we will go, for we must hold a feast to the Lord.”

And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old; with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto Jehovah.

Moses replied,“ We will go with our young and our old; we will go with our sons and daughters and with our flocks and herds because we must hold Yahweh’s festival.”

And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we[ must hold] a feast unto the LORD.

Moses said,“ We will go with our young and our old, with our sons and our daughters, and with our sheep and our cattle we will go, because we are to hold a pilgrim feast for the LORD.”

Moses said,“ We will go with our young and with our old. We will go with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds; for we must hold a feast to Yahweh.”

“ The elders of Israel will listen to you. Then you and the elders are to go to the king of Egypt and say to him,‘ The Lord, the God of the Hebrews, has met with us. Let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God.’

Afterward Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and said,“ This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says:‘ Let my people go, so that they may hold a festival to me in the wilderness.’”

besides all the members of Joseph’s household and his brothers and those belonging to his father’s household. Only their children and their flocks and herds were left in Goshen.

Then Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said,“ Go, sacrifice to your God here in the land.”But Moses said,“ That would not be right. The sacrifices we offer the Lord our God would be detestable to the Egyptians. And if we offer sacrifices that are detestable in their eyes, will they not stone us?We must take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, as he commands us.”Pharaoh said,“ I will let you go to offer sacrifices to the Lord your God in the wilderness, but you must not go very far. Now pray for me.”

For seven days eat bread made without yeast and on the seventh day hold a festival to the Lord.

Assemble the people— men, women and children, and the foreigners residing in your towns— so they can listen and learn to fear the Lord your God and follow carefully all the words of this law.Their children, who do not know this law, must hear it and learn to fear the Lord your God as long as you live in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

“‘ On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. Celebrate a festival to the Lord for seven days.

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say,“ I find no pleasure in them”—

Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch— as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

Then they said,“ The God of the Hebrews has met with us. Now let us take a three-day journey into the wilderness to offer sacrifices to the Lord our God, or he may strike us with plagues or with the sword.”

Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops;

young men and women, old men and children.Let them praise the name of the Lord, for his name alone is exalted; his splendor is above the earth and the heavens.

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord.
