那时整个埃及必充满悲惨的哭号声，惨况空前绝后。

埃及到处都布满了蝗虫，数目之多实在是空前绝后。整个埃及铺满蝗虫，地上一片黑暗。这些蝗虫吃尽了冰雹过后剩下的农作物和树上的果子，没有留下一点青绿。

不行！只有男子可以去事奉耶和华，这是你们一直要求的。”法老说完，便下令把他们赶出去。

他凭信心离开埃及，不怕王的愤怒。他坚忍不拔，好像看见了肉眼不能看见的主。

到那天，你所有的臣仆都要来俯伏在我面前，求我和跟随我的百姓离开这里。那时我才会离开。’”摩西说完便怒气冲冲地离开法老。

那将是乌云密布、天昏地暗的日子。来了一支空前绝后、强盛无比的蝗虫大军，它们像曙光一样布满山头。

那时冰雹夹杂着火降下来，极为严重，在埃及史无前例。
