No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.

那一日，我必把我百姓所住的歌珊地分别出来，使那里没有成群的苍蝇，好叫你知道我—耶和华是在全地之中。

耶和华却要分别以色列的牲畜和埃及的牲畜，凡属以色列人的，一只都不死。’”

它来到埃及营和以色列营的中间：一边有云和黑暗，另一边它照亮夜晚，整夜彼此不得接近。

兴起，发光！因为你的光已来到！耶和华的荣光发出照耀着你。看哪，黑暗笼罩大地，幽暗遮盖万民，耶和华却要升起照耀你，他的荣光要显在你身上。列国要来就你的光，列王要来就你发出的光辉。

所以，主耶和华如此说：“看哪，我的仆人必得吃，你们却饥饿；看哪，我的仆人必得喝，你们却干渴；看哪，我的仆人必欢喜，你们却蒙羞。看哪，我的仆人因心中喜乐而欢呼，你们却因心里悲痛而哀哭，因灵里忧伤而哀号。

惟独以色列人所住的歌珊地没有冰雹。

我要引导盲人行他们所不认识的道，引领他们走他们未曾走过的路；我在他们面前使黑暗变为光明，使弯曲变为平直。这些事我都要做，并不离弃他们。

那时你们必再一次看出义人和恶人，事奉神和不事奉神的人有何差别。”

不过，你们是被拣选的一族，是君尊的祭司，是神圣的国度，是属神的子民，要使你们宣扬那召你们出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

他救了我们脱离黑暗的权势，迁移到他爱子的国度里。

你们的祖宗哀求耶和华，他就用黑暗把你们和埃及人隔开了，又使海水冲向埃及人，淹没他们。我在埃及所做的，你们都亲眼见过。你们在旷野住了很多日子。
