No one could see anyone else or move about for three days. Yet all the Israelites had light in the places where they lived.

那日，我必把我人民居住的地方歌珊分別出來，使那裡沒有蒼蠅，為要使你知道在全地上只有我是耶和華。

耶和華必把以色列的牲畜和埃及人的牲畜分別出來；所有屬於以色列人的，一隻也不死去。’”

雲柱來到埃及營和以色列營中間；雲柱一邊是黑暗的，一邊卻光照著黑夜。這樣整夜彼此都不能接近。

錫安哪！起來，發光，因為你的光已經來到，耶和華的榮耀已升起來照耀你。看哪！黑暗遮蓋大地，幽暗遮蔽萬民；但耶和華要升起來照耀你，他的榮耀要彰顯在你身上。萬國要在你的光中行走，列王必在你如旭日初升的光輝中行走。

因此主耶和華這樣說：“看哪！我的眾僕人必有吃的，你們卻要飢餓；看哪！我的僕人必有喝的，你們卻要口渴；看哪！我的僕人必要歡喜，你們卻要蒙羞；看哪！我的僕人必因心裡高興而歡呼，你們卻要因心中傷痛而哀叫，因靈裡破碎而哀號。

只有在以色列人所在的歌珊地，沒有冰雹。

我必領瞎子走陌生的道，帶他們走他們不知道的路。我必在他們面前使黑暗變為光明，使彎曲的地方變為平直。這些事我都要作，決不放棄。

那時，你們就要再看出義人與惡人、事奉神的人和不事奉他的人之間有甚麼分別。”

然而你們是蒙揀選的族類，是君尊的祭司，是聖潔的國民，是屬神的子民，為要叫你們宣揚那召你們出黑暗入奇妙光明者的美德。

他救我們脫離了黑暗的權勢，把我們遷入他愛子的國裡。

你們的列祖呼求耶和華，他就以黑暗隔開你們和埃及人，又使海水復流淹沒了他們；我在埃及所行的事，你們都親眼見過；你們在曠野也住了許多日子。
