他就谋害我们的同胞，虐待我们的祖先，逼他们抛弃自己的婴孩，不容婴孩存活。

说：“你们给希伯来妇人接生的时候，要看着她们临盆；若是男孩，你们要杀死他；若是女孩，她就可以活着。”

他改变敌人的心去憎恨他的子民，用诡诈待他的众仆人。

因为他们不行恶，就不能入睡；不使人跌倒，就要失眠。

过了两年，法老作了一个梦，梦见自己站在河边。

耶和华对摩西说：“你要对亚伦说：‘拿你的手杖来，把你的手伸在埃及的众水之上，就是在他们的江、河、池和所有水塘之上，使水都变成血。因此，在埃及全地，连木器石器中都必有血。’”摩西和亚伦就这样行了，就像耶和华所吩咐的；亚伦在法老面前和法老的臣仆面前举起手杖，击打河里的水，河里的水就都变了血。河里的鱼死了，河水发臭了，埃及人也不能喝这河里的水了；在埃及，全地都有血。

第三位天使把碗倒在江河和众水的泉源里，水就变成了血。我听见掌管众水的天使说：“今在昔在的圣者啊！你这样审判是公义的，因为他们曾流圣徒和先知的血，现在你给他们血喝，这是他们该受的。”

因为他们的脚奔向邪恶，他们急于流人的血。

烈怒虽然凶残，暴怒又好像狂澜，人还可以忍受；但面对嫉妒，谁能站立得住呢？
