后来，法老命令全埃及的人把以色列人生的所有男婴都抛进尼罗河里，只让女婴活着。

他用毒计苦害我们的同胞，虐待我们的祖先，强令他们把婴孩抛弃，不让婴孩存活。

“你们在替希伯来妇女接生的时候，如果看到生下的是男婴，就把他杀掉；如果是女婴，就让她活下来。”

祂使仇敌憎恨他们，用诡计虐待他们。

因为他们不作恶就无法入睡，不绊倒人就无法安眠；

两年后，法老做了个梦，梦见自己站在尼罗河边，

耶和华对摩西说：“你告诉亚伦，让他向埃及境内的各江河、溪流、池塘伸杖，使水变成血。埃及境内，包括木桶和石缸里将到处是血。”摩西和亚伦就按着耶和华所吩咐的去做，亚伦在法老和埃及众臣仆面前举杖击打尼罗河水，河水都变成了血。河里的鱼都死了，河水臭得不能饮用。埃及遍地都是血。

第三位天使将碗倒在了江河与水泉里，水就变成了血。我听见掌管各水源的天使说：“昔在今在的圣者啊！你是公义的，因为你施行了审判。由于他们流了众圣徒和先知们的血，现在你使他们喝血，这正是他们应得的报应。”

因为他们奔向罪恶，急速地去杀人流血。

暴怒固然残酷，愤恨好比狂澜，然而嫉妒更是无人能敌。
