And Mordecai sent letters to all the Jews in the 127 provinces of Xerxes’ kingdom— words of goodwill and assurance—

Mordecai sent letters to all the Jews in the 127 territories of the kingdom of Xerxes. The letters had messages of kindness and hope in them.

亚哈随鲁作王，从印度直到古实，统管一百二十七省。

三月，就是西弯月二十三日，将王的书记召来，按着末底改所吩咐的，用各省的文字、各族的方言，并犹大人的文字方言写谕旨，传给那从印度直到古实一百二十七省的犹大人和总督省长首领。

希西家对以赛亚说：“你所说耶和华的话甚好，因为在我的年日中必有太平和稳固的景况。”

“万军之耶和华如此说：四月、五月禁食的日子，七月、十月禁食的日子，必变为犹大家欢喜快乐的日子和欢乐的节期；所以你们要喜爱诚实与和平。”
