耶和华对摩西说：“你要把这事记录在书上作纪念，又念给约书亚听：我要把亚玛力的名字从天下全然涂去。”

说吧，以色列：“若不是耶和华帮助我们，若不是耶和华帮助我们，当人起来攻击我们，那时，人向我们发怒，就把我们活活吞了；

正月十三日，王的一些书记受召而来，照着哈曼一切所吩咐的，用各省的文字、各族的语言，奉亚哈随鲁王的名写谕旨，又用王的戒指盖印，传给王的总督、各省的省长，以及各族的领袖。

现在你们要写下这首歌，教导以色列人，放在他们口中，使这首歌成为我指责以色列人的见证。因为我将他们领进我向他们列祖起誓应许那流奶与蜜之地，他们在那里吃得饱足，长得肥胖，就偏向别神，事奉它们，藐视我，背弃我的约。当许多祸患灾难临到他们的时候，这首歌必在他们面前作见证，因为他们后裔的口必吟诵不忘。我未领他们到我所起誓应许之地以先，他们所怀的意念我都知道了。”当日摩西就写了一首歌，教导以色列人。

这一代要对那一代颂赞你的作为，他们要传扬你的大能。他们要述说你威严荣耀的尊荣，我要默念你奇妙的作为。人要传讲你可畏的能力，我也要传扬你的伟大。他们要将你可记念的大恩传开，并要高唱你的公义。耶和华有恩惠，有怜悯，不轻易发怒，大有慈爱。耶和华善待万有，他的怜悯覆庇他一切所造的。耶和华啊，你一切所造的都要称谢你，你的圣民也要称颂你。他们要传讲你国度的荣耀，谈论你的大能，好让世人知道你大能的作为和你国度威严的荣耀。

他仆人以色列的后裔，他所拣选雅各的子孙哪，要记念他奇妙的作为和他的奇事，并他口中的判语。
