詔曰、王畿之內、各州之邑、凡爾猶大人、於十二月、即亞達月、十三日咸集、自相扞衛、如有擊爾者、爾反攻之、剿滅厥眾、戮其子女、得其貨財。

害予之人蒙羞含恥、悚然駭懼、故我稱爾仁義、終日靡已兮。

敵設謀以害予、願其失志敗北、悚然駭懼兮。

故我告眾曰、遠邦之人、宜聽我言、爾雖震怒、戎服備戰、必見傷殘、終歸糜爛、

遄征前往、上帝使四邑之民咸懼、故追雅各子者、迄無一人。○

皆哈曼之子、不取其貨財。

謂其人曰、耶和華曾以此地錫爾、我所素知、斯土之人懼爾、甚至喪膽、

蓋斯眾剛愎厥心、耶和華聽其然、使與以色列族戰、而被翦滅、無少姑縱、循耶和華諭摩西之命。○

爾所至之地、我必使其民悚懼、潰亂特甚、與爾敵者、無不敗北。

亞達月十四日、書山之猶大人咸集、又殺三百人、不取其貨財。亞達月十三日、居各州之猶大人咸集、以相扞禦、殺敵七萬五千人、不取貨財、然後事平。至十四日憩息、設宴欣喜。居書山之猶大人、於十三日十四日、咸集殺敵、十五日憩息、設宴欣喜。

時我上帝耶和華聽希實本王西宏剛愎厥心、不容我過其地、為我所敗、以今日之事為證。
