文書中王准一省一省的猶大人在一日之間、在十二月、就是亞達月、十三日、都可以聚集，站起來保護自己的性命，將任何族任何省分要攻擊他們、的一切軍兵、連小孩和婦女、全都消滅、屠殺滅盡，並且奪取他們的資財作為掠物。

有永恆主在為我，在幫助我，我總會看見恨我的人遭報。避難於永恆主裏面的比倚靠人好。避難於永恆主裏面的比倚靠王子好。列國圍繞着我；我靠永恆主的名將他們割掉；他們環繞着我，圍困着我；我靠永恆主的名將他們割掉；他們如同蜂子圍繞着我，他們燃燒起像荊棘中的火；我靠着永恆主的名將他們割掉。

在王各省其餘的猶大人也都聚集，站起來保護自己的性命，脫離他們的仇敵、得享平安，殺了恨惡他們的人七萬五千名；至於掠物、他們卻沒有下手去拿：

以斯帖說：『王若以為好，求王明天也准書珊的猶大人照今天的勅令行：將哈曼十個兒子的屍首掛在示眾木架上。』

你們生活的風度不可貪愛銀錢；要以現有的為足；因為上帝親自說過：『我必定不放開你，必定不撇棄你』；

猶大人在亞哈隨魯王、各省的城裏、就聚集攏來，要下手擊殺那些想法子要害他們的人；沒有人在他們面前能站得住，因為各族之民都起了震懾他們的心。

要禁戒各式各樣的邪惡。
