必自光明見逐於黑暗、必被驅出乎世界、在其民中、無子無孫、在其居處、一無所遺、

天主為惡人所定之罰、強暴人由全能之主所得之報、今將言之、其子孫雖繁、終必為刃所殺、其後裔不得足食、所遺之裔、必遭疫癘而葬、嫠婦不泣、

毋跪拜、毋崇事、蓋我耶和華爾之天主、乃忌邪之天主、或作不容人崇奉別神惡我者、我必討其罪、以及子孫、至三四代、

蓋曰、亞瑪力人手攻主之寶座、故主與之戰、至於世世、

兄弟乎、我更有餘言、凡真實者、凡端莊者、凡公義者、凡清潔者、凡可愛者、凡可稱者、有何德、有何譽、俱當念之、

亞達月十四日、書珊之猶大人聚集、又殺三百人、不取貨財、在王之各州其餘之猶大人、亦聚集自衛、以保其生、不容仇敵擾害、殺敵七萬五千人、不取貨財、

以斯帖曰、敵人仇人即此惡人哈曼、哈曼於王及后前、不勝恐懼、

願無人向之施恩、無人憐恤其孤兒、願其後裔斷絕、願其名號塗抹、不傳諸後世、

因有人設謀、欲翦除殺戮勦滅我與我民族、原文作因我與我民族被鬻欲翦除殺戮勦滅我儕我儕若鬻為奴婢、我則無言、況滅我儕有損於王、敵萬不能補者、

勿以惡報惡、專心行善於眾人前、

爾從世上滅其子孫、從人間絕其後裔、

此事之後、亞哈隨魯王擢亞甲族哈米大他子哈曼、賜以大爵、升舉之、使其位高於諸牧伯、
