That same day King Xerxes gave Queen Esther the estate of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came into the presence of the king, for Esther had told how he was related to her.

That same day King Xerxes gave Queen Esther everything Haman had owned. Haman had been the enemy of the Jews. Esther had told the king that Mordecai was her cousin. So Mordecai came to see the king.

On that day King Ahasuerus gave to Queen Esther the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. And Mordecai came before the king, for Esther had told what he was to her.

On that same day King Xerxes gave the property of Haman, the enemy of the Jews, to Queen Esther. Then Mordecai was brought before the king, for Esther had told the king how they were related.

That same day King Ahasuerus awarded Queen Esther the estate of Haman, the enemy of the Jews. Mordecai entered the king’s presence because Esther had revealed her relationship to Mordecai.

On that day King Ahasuerus gave the house of Haman, the enemy of the Jews, to Queen Esther; and Mordecai came before the king, because Esther had disclosed what he was to her.

末底改叔之女哈大沙、又名以斯帖、容貌美麗、其父母已歿、因無父母、末底改撫養之、視若己女、

末底改叔亞比孩之女以斯帖、即末底改所撫養、視若己女者、依次當入宮覲王時、除王之宦官掌宮中女之希該、所命予之者外、一無所求、凡見之者無不悅之、

人生在世、猶如幻影、營謀皆是枉然、積蓄不知誰取、

善人遺業子孫、惡人貲財、存為善人所用、

雖積銀如塵沙、備衣如邱垤、所備者為義人所衣、其銀必為無辜者所分、

惟天主謂之曰、愚者乎、今夜將索爾靈、則所備者歸於誰、

以斯帖曰、敵人仇人即此惡人哈曼、哈曼於王及后前、不勝恐懼、

彼倚賴金寶、矜誇多財、人實不能贖己之兄弟、亦不能為彼奉贖金於天主、贖其生命、價值昂貴、永不得成、不能使之永久存活、不見朽壞、賢者必死、愚者昧者、亦必滅亡、將貨財留於他人、此乃常見之事、其心中以為家必永存、房宅必留至萬代、聲名必傳在世間、豈知人在榮華、不能永久、無異滅亡之畜類、此乃彼之愚昧道途、後世之人、仍以其言為然、細拉、

我亦自恨在日下勞碌經營、因我所得者、必遺於後我而來者用、其人或智或愚、尚未可知、我在日下、用智慧勞碌所得者、竟為彼所轄、此亦屬於虛、

貸金取利、增益其財者、所積之財、必為濟貧者所得、
