有一个伺候王名叫哈波拿的太监说：“看哪，哈曼还为那报告给王、救王有功的末底改做了一个五十肘高的木架，现今立在哈曼的家里。”王说：“把哈曼挂在木架上。”

Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs attending the king, said,“ A pole reaching to a height of fifty cubits stands by Haman’s house. He had it set up for Mordecai, who spoke up to help the king.” The king said,“ Impale him on it!”

Then Harbona said,“ There’s a pole standing near Haman’s house. He has prepared it for Mordecai. Mordecai is the one who spoke up to help you. Haman had planned to have him put to death. He was going to have the pole stuck through his body. Then he was going to set it up at a place where it would be 75 feet above the ground.” Harbona was one of the officials who attended the king. The king said to his men,“ Put Haman to death! Stick the pole through his body! Set it up where everyone can see it!”

Then Harbona, one of the eunuchs in attendance on the king, said,“ Moreover, the gallows that Haman has prepared for Mordecai, whose word saved the king, is standing at Haman’s house, fifty cubits high.” And the king said,“ Hang him on that.”

Then Harbona, one of the king’s eunuchs, said,“ Haman has set up a sharpened pole that stands seventy five feet tall in his own courtyard. He intended to use it to impale Mordecai, the man who saved the king from assassination.”“ Then impale Haman on it!” the king ordered.

Harbona, one of the king’s eunuchs, said,“ There is a gallows seventy-five feet tall at Haman’s house that he made for Mordecai, who gave the report that saved the king.” The king said,“ Hang him on it.”

Then Harbonah, one of the eunuchs who stood before the king, said,“ Indeed, behold, the wooden gallows standing at Haman’s house fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai who spoke good in behalf of the king!” And the king said,“ Hang him on it.”

Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king,“ Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.” Then the king said,“ Hang him on it!”

Then said Harbonah, one of the chamberlains that were before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman hath made for Mordecai, who spake good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. And the king said, Hang him thereon.

Harbona, one of the royal eunuchs, said:“ There is a gallows 75 feet tall at Haman’s house that he made for Mordecai, who gave the report that saved the king.” The king commanded,“ Hang him on it.”

And Harbonah, one of the chamberlains, said before the king, Behold also, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman had made for Mordecai, who had spoken good for the king, standeth in the house of Haman. Then the king said, Hang him thereon.

Harbona, one of the king’s eunuchs, said,“ Indeed, there is the gallows that Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke out in the king’s behalf. It stands near Haman’s home and is seventy-five feet high.” The king said,“ Hang him on it!”

Then Harbonah, one of the eunuchs who were with the king said,“ Behold, the gallows fifty cubits high, which Haman has made for Mordecai, who spoke good for the king, is standing at Haman’s house.” The king said,“ Hang him on it!”

他挖了坑，挖得很深，自己却掉进所挖的深坑里。他的祸患将归到自己的头上，他的残暴将落在自己的头顶。

纯全人的公义修直自己的道路；恶人必因自己的邪恶而仆倒。正直人的公义必解救自己；背信者必被自己的欲求缠住。

他的妻子细利斯和他所有的朋友就对他说：“你让人做一个高五十肘的木架，明天清晨请王吩咐人把末迪凯挂在其上；然后你就欢喜地与王一同去赴宴席吧！”这事在哈曼面前显为好，他就让人做了一个木架。

第七天，亚哈随鲁王因酒心里高兴，就吩咐在王面前事奉的七个太监米户幔、比斯塔、哈波纳、比革塔、阿巴塔、西达尔和甲尔迦斯，

愿毁灭在他们不知不觉时临到他们，愿他们暗设的网罗缠住他们，愿他们落在其中遭毁灭。

愿恶人都落在自己的网罗里，而我却安然经过。

然而，这事呈到了王的面前，王就用诏书下令，使哈曼的计策，就是他针对犹太人所谋划的恶事归到他自己的头上，王又让人把他和他的儿子们挂在木架上。

他们怎么在一瞬间就成了废墟呢？他们被恐怖的事彻底扫除！

大卫跑过去，站在那非利士人身旁，抓住他的刀，从鞘中拔出来，杀了他，然后砍下他的头。非利士人看见他们的勇士死了，就逃跑。

列国陷入自己所挖的深坑里，他们的脚被自己暗设的网罗缠住。耶和华显明自己，施行公正；恶人因自己手所做的陷入圈套。希加永细拉

在那些日子，末迪凯坐在御门那里。当时有两个守门的王室太监彼革坦和提列心怀怒气，图谋对亚哈随鲁王下手。末迪凯知道了这阴谋，就告诉王后以斯帖；以斯帖以末迪凯的名义告诉了王。经过调查，发现这阴谋是真的；于是那两个太监就被挂在木架上。这事在王面前被记在《编年史》上。

王又下令，人就把那些恶意控告但以理的人带来，把他们连同他们的儿女、妻子都扔进狮子坑。他们还没有落到坑底，那些狮子就扑住他们，把他们全身的骨头都咬碎了。

他们还在与哈曼说话的时候，王室的太监们到了，催哈曼赶快去赴以斯帖摆设的宴席。

读的时候，发现其中记着：末迪凯告发了两个守门的王室太监彼革坦和提列，他们图谋对亚哈随鲁王下手。

我曾看到恶人的强横，像本地青翠的树那样蔓延；但他很快就消逝了，看哪，他不复存在！虽然我寻找他，却找不到。

国中所有的总督察、总长、行政官、谋士和省长一同商议，要请王设立一条法规，强制执行一条禁令：王啊，三十天之内，无论何人，如果向你以外的任何神明或任何人祈祷，就必被扔进狮子坑！
