The king got up in a rage, left his wine and went out into the palace garden. But Haman, realizing that the king had already decided his fate, stayed behind to beg Queen Esther for his life.

但瓦实提王后违抗太监所传的谕旨，拒绝前来，王非常生气，怒火中烧。

君王的震怒像雄狮怒吼，君王的恩泽如草上甘露。

约拿单答道：“我决不会这样做。如果我知道我父亲决意要杀你，我怎能不通知你呢？”

尼布甲尼撒怒气填胸，向沙得拉、米煞、亚伯尼歌大发雷霆，下令将火窑烧得比平时热七倍，

看啊！我要使撒旦的同伙，就是那些假冒犹太人的说谎者，在你面前俯伏下拜，让他们知道你是我所疼爱的。

欺压你之人的子孙要向你下拜，藐视你的人要在你脚前跪拜。他们要称你为耶和华的城，以色列圣者的锡安。

所以，请你赶快想个法子，不然主人和他全家恐怕都会大难临头。主人是个凶暴的人，没有人敢跟他说话。”

坏人俯伏在善人面前，恶人俯伏在义人门口。

恶人见状，必然恼怒，咬牙切齿，气绝身亡。恶人的盼望必破灭。

如果你父亲说‘好吧’，仆人就平安无事了。如果他发怒，就表示他决意要杀我。

之后，他又一连七天在御花园宴请书珊城里所有的居民，无论尊卑。
