And Esther said,“ The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

以斯帖回答说：“敌人和仇家就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前十分惊恐。

以斯帖回答：“这敌人和仇人，就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前立刻惊惶万分。

以斯帖说：“那敌人、那仇敌，就是这恶人哈曼！”哈曼就在王和王后面前惊惶失措。

以斯帖回答：“這敵人和仇人，就是這惡人哈曼！”哈曼在王和王后面前立刻驚惶萬分。

以斯帖說：『敵人、仇敵、就是哈曼這個壞人！』哈曼在王和王后面前立即驚惶失措。

以斯帖說：「那敵人、那仇敵，就是這惡人哈曼！」哈曼就在王和王后面前驚惶失措。

以斯帖曰、厥仇厥敵、即此惡人哈曼也、於是哈曼驚懼、在王與后前、

后曰、敵非他、哈曼是也。哈曼於王及后前、不勝股栗。

以斯帖曰、敵人仇人即此惡人哈曼、哈曼於王及后前、不勝恐懼、

Esther said,“ An adversary and enemy! This vile Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and queen.

Esther said,“ The man hates us! He’s our enemy! He’s this evil Haman!” Then Haman was terrified in front of the king and queen.

And Esther said,“ A foe and enemy! This wicked Haman!” Then Haman was terrified before the king and the queen.

Esther replied,“ This wicked Haman is our adversary and our enemy.” Haman grew pale with fright before the king and queen.

Esther answered,“ The adversary and enemy is this evil Haman.” Haman stood terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said,“ A foe and an enemy is this wicked Haman!” Then Haman became terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said, An adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

Esther answered,“ The adversary and enemy is this evil Haman.” Haman stood terrified before the king and queen.

And Esther said, The adversary and enemy[ is] this wicked Haman. Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

Esther replied,“ The oppressor and enemy is this evil Haman!” Then Haman became terrified in the presence of the king and queen.

Esther said,“ An adversary and an enemy, even this wicked Haman!” Then Haman was afraid before the king and the queen.

And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.

Oh, that You would slay the wicked, O God! Depart from me, therefore, you bloodthirsty men.For they speak against You wickedly; Your enemies take Your name in vain.Do I not hate them, O Lord, who hate You? And do I not loathe those who rise up against You?I hate them with perfect hatred; I count them my enemies.

“ The light of the wicked indeed goes out, And the flame of his fire does not shine.The light is dark in his tent, And his lamp beside him is put out.The steps of his strength are shortened, And his own counsel casts him down.For he is cast into a net by his own feet, And he walks into a snare.The net takes him by the heel, And a snare lays hold of him.A noose is hidden for him on the ground, And a trap for him in the road.Terrors frighten him on every side, And drive him to his feet.His strength is starved, And destruction is ready at his side.

They are not in trouble as other men, Nor are they plagued like other men.Therefore pride serves as their necklace; Violence covers them like a garment.Their eyes bulge with abundance; They have more than heart could wish.They scoff and speak wickedly concerning oppression; They speak loftily.They set their mouth against the heavens, And their tongue walks through the earth.

As messengers of death is the king’s wrath, But a wise man will appease it.

In the same hour the fingers of a man’s hand appeared and wrote opposite the lampstand on the plaster of the wall of the king’s palace; and the king saw the part of the hand that wrote.Then the king’s countenance changed, and his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his hips were loosened and his knees knocked against each other.

But those who are outside God judges. Therefore“ put away from yourselves the evil person.”

Dreadful sounds are in his ears; In prosperity the destroyer comes upon him.He does not believe that he will return from darkness, For a sword is waiting for him.

And it happened, when all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations around us saw these things, that they were very disheartened in their own eyes; for they perceived that this work was done by our God.

So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews.

As the proverb of the ancients says,‘ Wickedness proceeds from the wicked.’ But my hand shall not be against you.

When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell.

He who says to the wicked,“ You are righteous,” Him the people will curse; Nations will abhor him.But those who rebuke the wicked will have delight, And a good blessing will come upon them.

If you see the oppression of the poor, and the violent perversion of justice and righteousness in a province, do not marvel at the matter; for high official watches over high official, and higher officials are over them.

Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end.Surely You set them in slippery places; You cast them down to destruction.Oh, how they are brought to desolation, as in a moment! They are utterly consumed with terrors.As a dream when one awakes, So, Lord, when You awake, You shall despise their image.

My heart wavered, fearfulness frightened me; The night for which I longed He turned into fear for me.
